You're right. Hopefully, election reform will become an issue, and politicians will be limited to $$$ spent and a shorter time to campaign.
sorry they don't need reform. they need a cap on the campaign funds they are allowed to get/spend. and a stop to these special groups that throw money at them to get what they want.

Good for Barack reminding the American people that he voted against the war, I wish I could hear him say it every day. With the country in turmoil, people without work, education across the country is at it's lowest, kids are attending some of the worst schools in America, foreclosure on homes on the rise, and yet we want to send someone to the white house that voted to the was and gave no thought to what it would cost the country. send someone to the white house that disregarded the feelings of families and lives that would be lost. And yet some say she is smart. I am still trying to figure that one. SO Mao and the rest of the Hillbilly clan get a life.

What are we supposed to be seeing in these videos?
Someone told me about some short videos on the Chicago Tribune website by John Kass and Obama's Chicago Way. Maybe that is what they were referring to.

Obama has continually criticized Hillary by repeating the same statement, "I have always been against the war and Hillary voted for it." However, he accepted endorsements from Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, John Kerry, Jay Rockefeller and Chris Dodd, and each of these senators voted the same as Hillary did.
Regarding the important Iran vote in September 2007: 48 of our 50 senators cast their yea or nay vote. Obama chose to stay on the campaign trail and dodge the vote. A reporter asked him why he missed that important vote and he just said he apologizes for that. So, what we have is that he spoke out against the Iran resolution and didn't vote against it. McCain was the other one who dodged the vote. Hillary was the only one of the three candidates who was willing to stand up and be counted.
Please disregard Ted Kennedy's name above. He was the only one of the five senators who didn't vote for the war. Thanks.

So...What is the point of this article? What conclusion has the author reached?
I am more concerned about a disturbing piece of info I recently learned...
David Axelrod-Sen Obama’s campaign manager- has a stellar reputation for advising his black candidates on how to ‘shape’ their message & attacks in such a way to win over the white sympathy votes and black anger votes…
Everyone-sad to say even journalists- have jumped to conclusion that all the negative ads out there against Sen. Obama have been instigated by the Clinton camp.
“All’s fair in love and war and campaigning for election” in this country according to many people who in ‘real life when they are not campaigning” are inherently good people.
http://www.thenation.com/doc/20070219/hayes Check out this article in The Nation magazine
“Obama’s Media Maven” by Chrisptoher Hayes. 2/19/08 issue
Read what they (and everyone who knows Axelrod) write about David Axelrod, the 51-year-old reporter turned media consultant who is the key media strategist for Obama campaign.
Has it dawned on anyone writing these articles that maybe…just maybe…the smear tactics we have been witnessing these past few weeks against Sen. Obama were actually initiated by the Obama camp to make Clinton camp look bad? Or, maybe…just maybe…Republican campaign operatives did this.
And what about any Clinton ads that some voters may have found offensive?
Neither you nor I know which came first-the chicken or the egg.
Was the ad that some people may not have been comfortable with - an offensive or defensive move on the part of the Clinton campaign? This article provides more support for what is written in The Nation mag.

The word 'anti-Christ' do you know how silly you sound? I guess the Hildebeast supporters will do or say anything to get her elected. This is the ultimate in politics of personal destruction. I think Obama is weathering these smears quite well.

Part of being a good ciitizen involves the following:
***Staying properly informed,
Staying properly involved.
and voting

***Be very careful as to where and how you collect your information and how you analyse it.

As long as you are doing all 3, then vote what you believe...

Thank you for voting-no matter what your position.

Why does Hillary Clinton hate our country?
It's IMPOSSIBLE for her to pass Obama in PLEDEGED delegates.
She is DIVIDING this country; therefor, making it easier for the repugnants to win in november!
Easy she is powerhungry and she knows if she makes it close she and her connections can pull the okee doke and steal the nomination. Just watch.

Being so intelligent, then you must know that Obama is much further to the left than Clinton. Prior to his running for office, he was pro-Palestinian. And underneath it all, he probably still is. Later on he convinced Jews to donate to his campaign. Even the intelligent can be caught in his mystical spell, especially when they are desperate for change.

Not too long ago, Democrats and liberals were blind to Hillary. Now they call her the same names Republicans used. But it seems they have only changed demoguoges.

Obama tried pandering to Latinos in California.

It didn't work. He lost.

He tried pandering to Latinos in Texas.

It didn't work. He lost.

He tried pandering on NAFTA in Ohio.

It didn't work. He lost.

Maybe he should try, you know, not pandering!

That would fit better with his claim to practice "a new kind of politics and a new kind of leadership"

Israel Matzav: Trying to figure out Obama

"If disappointing, given his historically close relations to Palestinian-Americans, Obama's about-face is not surprising. He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power."

What politician doesn't do that. The only thing is he doesn't do it as much as Hillary, and watch McCain change his story to get more Repubs on his side now that he is the nominee.
