88 percent of the Dems who changed to supporting immunity (83 Dems of the 94) received PAC contributions from Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint during the last three years (Jan. 2005-Mar. 2008). See below for list of these 94 Dems.
All House Members (June 20th vote:)
Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint gave PAC contributions averaging:
$9,659 to each member of the House voting "YES" (105-Dem, 188-Rep)
$4,810 to each member of the House voting "NO" (128-Dem, 1-Rep)

Sylvester: And by all in U.S. borders, he says that includes everyone in the United States, including upwards of 12 million illegal aliens. The group is urging the Democratic Party to adopt a plank at the party's convention in Denver, guaranteeing accessible health care for all.

Congressman John Conyers from Michigan, a leading pro amnesty advocate in Congress, is the first top Democratic delegate to sign up for the Progressive Democrat's platform on universal health care. Critics charge that offering health care to millions of illegal aliens will encourage even more illegal immigration and is an attack on the concept of U.S. citizenship.

How about the fact that the Democrats want to provide affordable health care for the 47 million AMERICANS who have no health coverage at all. The Republicans do not.

The reason health care is so expensive is that it isn't free market it's over regulated and over LAWYERED as a result .

For instance an insurance company must be formed for every state a company does biz in.
There cannot be an Aetna Health Insurance co.
But an Aetna of NY, an Aetna of Ca. an Aetna of Va etc.etc X 50.

So if you move you must change companies and all companies don't operate every place.
Why not national competition ( DEMS)?

Let the company decide where they want to do biz not some stone age archaic rules that cost the general public big bucks.

Hope. Change. These are the two things that Sen. Barack Obama promises my generation, but I cannot help but recall that these were the same things that figures like Hitler and Mussolini also offered their country's discontented youth. Our health care system is broken, our economy is out of balance, our education system fails too many of our children, and our retirement system is in tatters."

Our nation may be at war, but our planet is not in imminent peril. Our health care system is not broken by most standards, which rank it ahead of most of the world. Our economy might be headed toward recession or stagflation, but we have faced economic problems almost every decade in our history. Our educational system is mediocre, but it's not the president's constitutional responsibility or prerogative to fix it. Our retirement system is headed toward collapse, but Obama so far has not posited a solution to fix it.

More than anything, Obama proffers my generation despair and deception, casting things as much worse than they are and trying to persuade us that he is the only one who can fix America's problems challenges insignificant compared with others Americans have faced.

Presidents Reagan and Clinton made public addresses from the same location.

Obama's speech today in Berlin, hailed as a "major" address, has at least one major, glaring error that shows that nether Obama nor his handlers and speech writers were thoroughly familiar with the facts. Obama's main theme was about the "walls" that separate all of us one from another. He claims that many of these "walls" have been taken down and hails that as progress. But in at least one instance he is wrong. In fact more walls have been built where Obama claimed they were taken down.

Obama claims that the walls built to separate Protestant from Catholic have come down in Belfast. Well, in fact, they have not. In reality MORE ARE BEING BUILT all the time.

As a May 5th USA Today story chronicles, "Ten years after peace was declared in Northern Ireland, one might have expected that Belfast's barriers would be torn down by now. But reality, as usual, is far messier. Not one has been dismantled. Instead they've grown in both size and number."

Ronald Reagan was able to get Mr. Gorbechev to tear down those walls, but it seems Mr. Obama can't even get it straight if they exist or not!

So, where is the fawning, sycophantic media to lambast Obama's ignorance here?

The Siegessäule -- or Victory Column -- was erected in memory of Prussia's victories over Denmark (1864), Austria (1866) and France (1870/71).
