Hmmmm... 1954... the same time that "under God" was inserted into the Pledge of Allegiance. This nasty column uses history selectively.

And nasty it is, pandering to the fears of the uneducated and undereducated. The authors promote a very scary, and fundamentally unAmerican agenda. Shame on them and on those who would heed them.

Loosen your grip on your gun and your bible, and get a grip on yourself.

It is one thing to ignore OUR Founding History. It is another to deny it ever happened.
The Founders didn't just insurge against the conservative Calvinist Angilcan King George, They revolted against his conservative Calvinist anglican church of England. Why would they then turn around & accept King James as their oppressor? They did not. In fact they drove the Tory's who believed they should surrender their free will to the King, out of the new country. The Deistic principle of Naturally inherent or unalienable rights took hold. As well as the Unitarrian principle of "self-evident truth's" that Jesus the man shined a light on the road to rightousness. That We the people have failed to teach the Deistic & Unitarrian principles of a republic has allowed the desease of the Trinity to flourish.

Where in the Constitution does it say churches are entitled to tax exemptions?

I believe churches ought to have the sap taxed out of them. Central and local governments sure tax the sap out of us warm-blooded humans, so why shouldn't the cold-blooded churches be taxed?

So let them endorse candidates. Then tax the tards too.

Exactly, and since Sarah Palin has gone on her church trips and billed the state of Alaska, either she needs to reimburse the state, or churches need to start paying taxes.

"But the question that begs to be answered is: has this prohibition contributed to moral decay in America? The moral decline of the nation accelerated after the ban was instituted. Abortion, sexual crimes, rape and pornography have all increased dramatically since Johnson’s gag order was passed."
Why is the hell does this question have to be asked!? The authors are seriously delusional if they believe one president is responsible for "the moral decline of the nation". So unbelievable it's scary.
