The number of actual violent crimes in this city alone have gone up. The police here tend to ignore most of it.

Crime has been declining for several years, but the decline reported by the survey for past year was about three times as great as annual declines recorded by the same survey during the previous nine years.
Sure it has.
I guess they based this on high unemployment, high gas, increase in food prices and welfare.

NOT TO BE BELIEVED!!!!
Back in Russia, the government ALWAYS led people to believe there was very little crime.
They withheld crime statistics from the public.
Their propaganda was to lead the people to believe there was very little or no crime, when in fact every imaginable crime took place every hour of the day. Homicide always topped the list.
Hussein Obama took Russia' baton and is running with it.
Illegal Mexicans and muslims are still responsible for murdering about 3,500 Americans citizns each year.
Muslim gangs are proliferating and competing with blacks and Mexicans.
Due to budget restraints, many police agencies will no longer take take certain larceny reports.
THE UNITED STATES IS STILL THE MURDER CAPTITOL OF THE WORLD.
The homicide rate of Washington DC in one year is greater than that of the entire continent of Europe in one year.
Crime is the corner stone of liberalism.
One nourishes off the other.
Crime is politically correct.
(Just look who occupies the White House!)

I would like to ask the DOJ how many of you would walk down a city steet at night on a hot summer night in Detroit?

Violent crime has gone down nationally in a reflection of the increased number of States passing concealed carry of deadly weapons allowance. Once reciprocation of concealed carry law recognition is more uniform, we'll see violent crime drop even more. Impacting the drop in violent rate even more are those States with "castle" laws, allowing people to shoot anyone entering their homes in a criminal matter. Further impact is seen in States forbidding the arrest of a properly permitted person using deadly force against anyone committing a violent crime. Law abiding citizens carrying deadly weapons they are capable of using scares the living shit out of criminals, because criminals are cowards. Even someone whacked out of their mind on marijuana, or other dope seems capable of understanding a well armed citizenry will kill them if they act up.

I live in Nashviille,TN. it is not safe to walk the streets here anytime. There are criminals with and without badges. Either way you can die.

It's the result of decades of liberalism destroying our families and school system. Generational welfare enables single mothers to spawn future felons at an unsustainable rate.

new york bloomberg jobs riots
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, shown here during his September 11 tenth anniversary address, fears that joblessness could lead to riots.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney)-- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is worried that high U.S. unemployment could lead to the same kind of riots here that have swept through Europe and North Africa.
"You have a lot of kids graduating college,[who] can't find jobs," said Bloomberg, during his weekly radio show on Friday. "That's what happened in Cairo. That's what happened in Madrid. You don't want those kinds of riots here."

We can also thank feminism and it's ilk. One of their main goals was/is to destroy the family.
"The nuclear family must be destroyed... Whatever its ultimate meaning, the break-up of families now is an objectively revolutionary process." -- Linda Gordon

The crime rate has gone up where I live. Some children & young adults are given guns and taught to kill for fun. Parents will not lock up their guns & bullets which results in these young adults shooting to death their own families. These young adults want to do what they want to do when they want to do it without their parents interference. There's 1 being tried in Bossier City, Louisiana right now for shooting to death his Momma & Daddy!
