This still doesn't tell me who you propose is the best choice, this country needs help.

The only thing that would help this country is complete economic collapse and we start over with no government at all. Voluntary associations will soon follow. Government is the root of all evil. It can never be reformed.

I don't care how you live. Once we get rid of a few billion bottom feeders who suck at the tit of government, this world will be a much better place.

Yeah there alot of those who are still use to having everything handed to them. They can't go out and earn their own money they want to get taken care of, that is another thing that should be considered when electing someone, are they to soft and liberal for our own good?

We are closer than you think to the economic collapse. As we speak the money market funds are near a run, the "break a buck will never happen" advertising slogan has sunk. What happens if everyone's money market loses vast value immediately....that will lead to a run on ordinary banks....that will lead to massive amounts of insolvency. Credit functions, specifically credit cards and lines of credit on home equity, etc will be cut, or cancelled. We can all be in the bankruptcy court together. They'd have to invent a new court, the express court (Lehman's br is gonna be a little more complex than mine).

Media never tell this wrote:
Why Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican
By Frances Rice
It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. In that era, almost all black Americans were Republicans. Why? From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S's: Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism.
It was the Democrats who fought to keep blacks in slavery and passed the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. The Democrats started the Ku Klux Klan to lynch and terrorize blacks. The Democrats fought to prevent the passage of every civil rights law beginning with the civil rights laws of the 1860's, and continuing with the civil rights laws of the 1950's and 1960's.
During the civil rights era of the 1960's, Dr. King was fighting the Democrats who stood in the school house doors, turned skin-burning fire hoses on blacks and let loose vicious dogs. It was Republican President Dwight Eisenhower who pushed to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and sent troops to Arkansas to desegregate schools.
President John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act while he was a senator, as did Democrat Senator Al Gore, Sr. And after he became president, John F. Kennedy was opposed to the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King that was organized by A. Phillip Randolph who was a black Republican.
In March of 1968, while referring to Dr. King's leaving Memphis, Tennessee after riots broke out where a teenager was killed, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, called Dr. King a "trouble-maker" who starts trouble, but runs like a coward after trouble is ignited. A few weeks later, Dr. King returned to Memphis and was assassinated on April 4, 1968.
Given the circumstances of that era, it is understandable why Dr. King was a Republican. It was the Republicans who fought to free blacks from slavery and amended the Constitution to grant blacks freedom (13th Amendment), citizenship (14th Amendment) and the right to vote (15th Amendment). Republicans also started the NAACP and affirmative action with Republican President Richard Nixon's 1969 Philadelphia Plan (crafted by black Republican Art Fletcher) that set the nation's first goals and timetables.
So we got to go all the way to Hi to get nonsense now? What a bunch of half truths and half lies and nonsense.
Who did eventually pass the civil rights act?
Who is the party that annually raises their little flag "we freed ya" but never did anything else to help them...unless you really think the immediate years after the war helped anyone in the south; truth is the entire south was enslaved after the Civil War, whites and blacks, when, to this day, the south continues to trail the rest of the country in ownership, education, literacy, wealth.
Further, the ideal which you so stand upon, Mr. Lincoln, technically freed only the slaves of the country (that had legally withdrawn from the united organization of states, follow those words, there was nothing illegal about dropping out of the union, but the difficulty of it is something even Sarah Palin's friends bemoan now) he was fighting against, doing nothing for the remaining slaves in his Union. Perhaps it was his actions that inspired the W doctrine of first strike mentality?
What does the "southern strategy" as adopted by Nixon mean to you? Same stragegy the R's have used for great success ever since 1968. You should learn it well, because it will tell you what you really ought to know about Republicans and blacks. Hint: it is not about inclusion.

I can only continue to hope that Mc Cain and Palin win so that you can go find a real job. You know different than the one that you and your fascist buddies and mslsd have had for the past year and a half. Yeah and Toby is in that increase of tax bracket Obama talks about.

I wonder how he would feel if his taxes went up 12%.

I bet he would change his mind then.

Let's be honest about Mr. Toby Keith. He knows that if he finds favor with Oprah, the Queen of all promotion, she might cause his album sales to sky-rocket by mentioning it on her program. These celebretards know that Oprah is watching.$$$$

I'll be turning the station when a Toby Keith song comes on from now on......I had respect for the man, but not anymore.....I also thought he had more smarts than to get involved in politics......It doesn't matter who he would have endorsed, music stars or Hollywood actors should not be using their notoriety to boost ANY candidates chances to win an election because uniformed people will vote for a candidate simply because a famous person endorsed them.....One word Toby....Pitiful..........You’r e no better than the rest of the bottom feeders……..

Toby Keith has been bull skating people for along time with his so called ''country music'' which is rock music disguised as so called ''country''. Why would anyone take anything he has to say seriously? He is nothing more than a typical hick.
