The Weathermen later claim credit for the bombing in their book, "Prairie Fire." 8 October-11, 1969 – The "Days of Rage" riots occur in Chicago in which 287 Weatherman members from throughout the country were arrested and a large amount of property damage was done. 6 December 1969 – Bombing of several Chicago Police cars parked in a precinct parking lot at 3600 North Halsted Street, Chicago. The WUO stated in their book "Prairie Fire" that they had did the explosion. 27 December-31, 1969 – Weathermen hold a "War Council" meeting in Flint, MI, where they finalize their plans to submerge into an underground status from which they plan to commit strategic acts of sabotage against the government. You're a worthless troll that simply types insults and call anyone you disagree with a racist - like a typical intolerant O-B-A-M-A-C-O-N. You offer nothing of substance - not one juicy rational thought from you. There are people on this post that agree with me. And I think I've asked some very good questions, which no one can or will answer. You've called me a racist because I suggested Obama got into Harvard through affirmative action because he won't release his HS or Columbia grades. I then asked you how Obama got into Harvard. Just like clockwork, you hurl the racist insult and never attempt to answer a very good question. Remember, folks like you keep reminding us how low McCain ranked at the Naval Academy and that his father pulled strings to get him in. Care to try to at least answer that question. Or are you going to continue to spew racist hate all over this board? I'll say it again: not only are you a blatantly petty, churlish, poorly informed, partisan republican HACK, but you are immensely unlikeable. I suspect that's why you spend your waking hours posting your rightwingnut DRIVEL. Oh, and another thing: Grandpa & Gideget are LOSING THIS ELECTION. Get used to it.

They changed and grew up!

Tom Hayden was quite a well respected politician in California for quite a few years, MY FRIEND. He & Abbie Hoffman mobilized quite a few young people who could recognize the senselessness of VietNam a LONG time before the "Cold War elders" could comprehend how badly foreign policy decisions were mangled back then. Sound familiar in any way to the past 7 years of terribly mangled foreign policy decisions based on "elders Cold War" thoughts & mis-conceptions?

Obama's age has nothing to do with it, but the fact that Obama hangs around with such people who HATE so much is important. Then, Obama spent 20 YEARS around the RACIST and HATEFUL Rev Wright. Obama wasn't 8 years old, but Obama and his wife Michele had the audacity to bring their kids to listen to this. All of this hate is on the left.

Like water running downhill, your "point" puddles at the bottom with its "compelling" hit piece by -- who else?!- the Heritage Foundation! Ah yes...the Heritage Foundation. Where would America be without them? "Heritage takes credit for much of President Bush's policy, both domestic and foreign. Bush/Cheney policies were straight out of the Heritage play book. If a Democrat is elected president in November, the foundation's influence will no doubt wane, but only slightly. In any case, the sight of dozens of Bush administration officials, policy wonks, ideologues, and administrators moving out of their powerful policy-making positions and scurrying back to the right-wing think tanks from whence they came—including the Heritage Foundation—will be worth the price of admission." Re-read what you wrote. All of things that you guys claim the right does, you just do as a course of conduct. The talk in that video "How Modern Liberals Think" is very good and explains why you have to use names. Here's the link again for those people who want to get an idea of why Modern liberals are like they are: youtube.com/watch...

If we are to reach back into the past and lay blame for today's problems, then we should round up the families of the miners at Matewan and have them all issue apologies to the mining companies for causing such distress and financial penalities - because those miners rose up and fought for their rights. The shame of it all! Likewise, the people who caused the Selma riots in the 60s - you know, THOSE PEOPLE, like THAT ONE - should be made to PAY for the damage they inflicted on the Southern way of life. How dare they challenge the vaunted American Way? How dare they hold their rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial? HOW DARE THEY?

Furthermore, Bush didn't even bother to show up for his last year of service in Texas. And let's not forget Tom DeLay and Dan Quayle! Can you say "chicken hawk"? Here are some other GOP luminaries who never served in Vietnam, but join the teeming mob of right wing zealots in labeling Democrats as draft dodgers: Elliott Abrams - Sought deferment for bad back. Richard Armey - Sought college deferment, too smart to die. Bill Bennett - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die. Pat Buchanan - Sought deferment for bad knee. George W. Bush Daddy got him in the National Guard Dick Cheney - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die. Tom DeLay -- Sought college deferment, too smart to die. Newt Gingrich - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die. Phil Gramm - Sought marriage deferment, too loved to die. Jack Kemp - Sought medical deferment while in the NFL. Rush Limbaugh - Sought deferment for ingrown hair follicle on his ****. Trent Lott - Sought deferment, didn't want to muss his hair. P.J. O'Rourke - Sought deferment, too stoned. Dan Quayle - Family got him into the Reserves. Pat Robertson - Father pulled him out of Korea as soon as the shooting began. Kenneth Starr Sought deferment for psoriasis. John Wayne - Sought deferment to further acting career. Vin Weber - Sought deferment for asthma. George Will - Sought deferment, too much of a wussy. What you are missing is that Conservatives and Republicans generally are patriotic and support the country. Modern Liberals work towards undermining the country and our values. So which is better? People who support the Country or people who UNDERMINE it? I'll take the good guys every day of the week. That leaves the Modern Liberals (who have taken over most of the Democratic Party) as odd-man out. What people have to understand is the battle is not between Republican vs Democrat, it's between various forms of Conservatism vs Modern Liberalism. Modern Liberalism is destructive and leads no where.

And given all the hate talk that's been filling these boards - at this point - I figure it's time for a change of pace. Even if mccain isn't capable of staying out of the mud - doesn't mean we have to stoop to that level. Oh, "No one agrees with you - but that doesn't stop you from coming back." Chicago Jack wrote: How many of our past presidents have had friends who have bombed our national treasures / buildings? Yes, and what do Obama and Ossama have in common? They both have close associates who tried to blow up the Pentagon. It's funny, but, so sadly, it's true. For those who don't know, Obama's buddy Bill Ayer's tried to blow up the Pentagon. Watch the first minute of this interview of Ayers and his wife with Connie Chung. youtube.com/watch... These people are scum and it says something about Obama that he doesn't totally reject these people. But heck, Obama didn't reject the racist and America hater Rev Wright until he was caught. So let's summarize: Obama has hung with people like Bill Ayers, Rev Wright, Farrakhan, Pfleger, and others. These are all American haters, Marxisms and some are racists (Rev Wright for sure.) What does it say about Obama? It says Obama should be rejected by the public. A vote for Obama is a vote for racism. A vote for Obama is a vote for hate. The only hate I see is on the left and the above is proof enough.(If you people have time, watch the first minute or two of that video about Ayers.) What all of this also demonstrates is how illiberal the liberals are.
