Television news' royalty will fly in to meet Barack Obama during this week's overseas trip: CBS chief anchor Katie Couric in Jordan on Tuesday, ABC's Charles Gibson in Israel on Wednesday and NBC's Brian Williams in Germany on Thursday.
The anchor blessing defines the trip as a Major Event and _ much like a 'Saturday Night Live' skit in February that depicted a press corps fawning over Obama _ raises anew the issue of fairness in campaign coverage.
The news media has devoted significantly more attention to the Democrat since Hillary Clinton suspended her campaign and left a two-person contest for the presidency between Obama and Republican John McCain, according to research conducted by the Project for Excellence in Journalism.

The UNHOLY alliance between the media and liberal politicians has existed since the 1950's and there has not been a fair national election since. Ironically, John McCain has gotten better coverage than any Republican which helped him get the Republican nomination but Barack is who the POWER STRUCTURE wants. MSM pecking order: 1) Obama--the open-border power structure wants to put a black face on the STATUS QUO. All three anchors of the networks followed him to the mid-East and Europe!! Enough said. 2) Hilary--like her husband Bill, she was the second choice of the MSM. When Bill ran in 1992 the MSM wanted Gov. Mario Cuomo but he didn't run so Bill got the nomination. 3) McCain--acceptable to MSM ESTABLISHMENT, favors open-borders too. |

If they were playing fair, we would have coverage of Democrat, Republican, Independent and Constitution party candidates and their stance on the issues that matter.
Some people dont even know there is an Independent or Constitution party. But thats the way they want it. If more people knew and voted accordingly, It's possible Obama and McCain both would lose. |
Agreed. The main-stream media is owned by the rich and they want the status quo to continue. Other parties won't get MSM coverage and the MSM will not cover issues like the "Global Poverty Act", the war with Mexico or persecution of Christians in the USA. |
