Could Mr. Smith be an Operation Chaos Democrat? He is supporting the typical neo-con chant.

I did a little research on McCain and flip flopping.
* McCain supported the drilling moratorium; now he's against it.
* McCain strongly opposes a windfall-tax on oil company profits. Three weeks earlier, he was perfectly comfortable with the idea.
* McCain thought Bush's warrantless-wiretap program circumvented the law; now he believes the opposite.
* McCain defended privatizing Social Security. Now he says he's against privatization (though he actually still supports it.
* McCain wanted to change the Republican Party platform to protect abortion rights in cases of rape and incest. Now he doesn't.
* McCain thought the estate tax was perfectly fair. Now he believes the opposite.
* He opposed indefinite detention of terrorist suspects. When the Supreme Court reached the same conclusion, he called it one of the worst decisions in the history of this country.
* McCain believes the telecoms should be forced to explain their role in the administrations warrantless surveillance program as a condition for retroactive immunity. He used to believe the opposite.
* McCain supported moving towards normalization of relations with Cuba. Now he believes the opposite.
* McCain believed the U.S. should engage in diplomacy with Hamas. Now he believes the opposite.
* McCain believed the U.S. should engage in diplomacy with Syria. Now he believes the opposite.
* He wanted political support from radical televangelists like John Hagee and Rod Parsley. Now he doesn't.
* McCain pledged in February 2008 that he would not, under any circumstances, raise taxes. Specifically, McCain was asked if he is a ˜read my lips" candidate, no new taxes, no matter what?He changed his stand on this now.
* McCain has changed his economic worldview on multiple occasions.
* McCain has changed his mind about a long-term U.S. military presence in Iraq on multiple occasions.
* McCain is both for and against attacking Barack Obama over his former pastor at his former church.
* McCain believes Americans are both better and worse off than they were before Bush took office.
* McCain was a co-sponsor of the DREAM Act, which would grant legal status to illegal immigrant's kids who graduate from high school. Now he's against it.
* On immigration policy in general, McCain announced in February 2008 that he would vote against his own legislation.
* McCain said before the war in Iraq, we will win this conflict. We will win it easily. Four years later, McCain said he knew all along that the war in Iraq war was probably going to be long and hard and tough.
* McCain went from saying he would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade to saying the exact opposite.
* McCain went from saying gay marriage should be allowed, to saying gay marriage shouldn't be allowed.
* McCain criticized TV preacher Jerry Falwell as an agent of intolerance in 2002, but then decided to cozy up to the man who said Americans deserved the 9/11 attacks.
* McCain used to oppose Bush's tax cuts for the very wealthy, but he reversed course in February.
* On a related note, he said 2005 that he opposed the tax cuts because they were too tilted to the wealthy. By 2007, he denied ever having said this, and insisted he opposed the cuts because of increased government spending.
* McCain supported a major campaign-finance reform measure that bore his name. In June 2007, he abandoned his own legislation.
* McCain was anti-ethanol. Now he's pro-ethanol.
Confronted with the inconsistencies in McCain's record, the senator's aides told the New York Times that the senator has evolved rather than switched positions in his 25-year career. I think McCain's "evolving" might be a serious issue to consider.
Type McCain, Flip Flopping in search on your computer and sit back and start doing a little reading. You might learn something about flip flopping. They all do it. But in McCain's case, to say he is blameless? More like he has been belly flopping. Ouch!

McCain is now ahead in the polls. It is not to late to put Hillary on the top spot of the ballot. When her name is put in the nomination process, the delegates must vote for her not Obama.

How many homes do you have? Tough question? The number he has isn't what upset me. He blew answering it totally. Scary! He had to remember the number seven in his memory bank. The flip flopping is the least of my concerns now!

I can picture Bro1856 sitting in a GOP boiler-room spreading his vitriol everywhere he can. Did anyone see "Charles C. Smith"'s other letter to the editor in the Sunday News? After saying he was a Democrat, he calls Dems idiots (which seems to be Limbaugh's favorite word lately)
What a farce....

Since John McCain and the republican party have such a friendly relationship with the Clintons lately; he should put Hillary on his ticket!
The GOP has become very good at manipulating the gullible people of this country, and so far, their campaign exploiting Hillary is working. If McCain can get all of those "18 million" voters on his side that voted for Hillary; he can win easily, right? Since all of her followers say they'll vote for McCain; he could 'seal the deal' by naming her as his VP!!!!! She still has a chance!!! Show your support for Hillary! Let John McCain know; http://www.johnmccain.com/
(oh that's right, he doesn't know how to use a computer, sorry.........)

Join the petition for Hillary to be McCains VP!

.

(.........McCain & the Republican party are USING Hillary; her along with her "die-hards" have become enablers and are doing NOTHING to stop it!!!!!!!)

Talk about bad-mouthing America!!! The descent started with the polarization started with the Nixon "enemy list" and furthered with dirty tricks and the constant vitriol of namecalling. If you were a true American, you'd work to make our country (all of it) better.

My previous comment was aimed at Bro1856 for showing his true stripes by all the namecalling. It has thankfully disappeared from the blog line-up.

And the hate spewing forth from the left is so much better....

I do work to make my country better - by trying to return it to self-reliance.
Libs want us to rely on the government for everything, when the government is what causes everything to go wrong in the first place.

People, save for yourself, trust not anyone in government who says they will "give" you anything. They are just going to take everything else away from you.

Yea, McCain is working with the Clinton's. About as much as Hillarity giving her support to oBOMBo. Check the polls folks, even up. People are catching on, and have disregarded "Bet's" bull$hit flip-flopping list from above. Belly-flopping is better than a flat out belly whopper. oBOMBOo does nothing but belly whoppers. Especially without his tele-prompter.
