Gore and Bush are of the same ilk. We cheer over D or R. Mayport is in Duval County. Flagler and St. John's County are in between Volusia and Duval. There were a couple of thousand votes for Pat Buchannan because of a flawed ballot in a Dem county in South Florida. Dems okayed the ballot. Gore wins Florida if the ballot was readable to its voters. Gore lost his home state of Tennessee. He wins that, he is president no matter what happened in Florida.

Theresa Lapore was a Republican who switched to Democrat in 1996 just in time to screw up that election.
