So what you had is a combination of political factors inside of Iraq that then came right at the same time as terrific work by our troops. Had those political factors not occurred, I think that my assessment would have been correct.” ***** Problem with Obamas answer is that by the time Bush announced the surge, the Sunni awakening was already well in the works. I'm glad Senator Obama went there to find those facts himself, otherwise we'd be believing that the surge worked when we all know better.

If there are those who hate us because we are white and vice versa - so be it. BUT Obama, his wife and his two daughters are NOT hateful people - they are WAY too intelligent to give into generalizations first of all. What's to understand about "Blasphemy's" post with all those hateful, racist ststements made by Cone? You support that?

Gunner, Carol will support anything that is supported by her Messiah. She has surrendered her objectivity to her master. The funniest example of the phenomenon was when the Obama supporters were defending everything that Rev. Wright had said, no matter how racist or anti- American. Then, when Obama realized that Wright was a liability, he threw Wright under the bus and said that he, himself, was "outraged" by Wright's statements. This totally pulled the rug from beneath his supporters who had been supporting Wright. Did they learn a lesson from this; obviously for some, the answer is no. I really can't understand what it is about Obama that inspires such blind devotion, when it is becoming so obviously clear that he is just another ruthless and deceptive politician, only less experienced and more racist.

He is full of his self importance and a phony. If it hadn't been for underhanded politics and pathological lying, Obama would be a civil rights attorney and nothing more. You forgot first Black President of the Harvard Law Review. One of the highest academic achievements one can obtain in this country. He will soon be the first Black President of the United States of America. Before you get angry because I said "first Black", remember that he has much more than a DROP of Black blood. He's 50% Black. Is biracial on the Census form, yet?

Well, the Obamessiah blew off the troops at Landstuhl, including the wounded. He's too busy touring and shoppingand getting ready for the rally at Hitler's Victory Column.
It all fits.
And it seems the French could give a damn about Oaama.

I don't think an apology is necessary - it is a dark side of the South's history as I'm sure you'll agree. Northerners have a dark side too - Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire comes to mind - in other parts of the country - the Dust Bowl years. It is what it is.

Carol wrote: <quoted text> Obama's supporters - like myself do NOT see him as racist - the black theology that you speak of was in direct response to white supremacists. Wright's church is first and foremost a celebration of the African American culture - which was it's main draw. Because of that - it attracted many of our nation's black elite. As a politician - Obama would very naturally go where the money is to support his personal ambitions. As members of the surrounding area also of course attended - Obama then is able to keep in touch with the needs and concerns of the more disadvantaged class. Wright, an egomaniac, is NOT the reason why MOST people attend the church. Do you ever take your blinders off? Are they permanantly attached? I hate to tell you this but people like you and a gazillion others all over these threads is exactly why I would never ever vote for obama! You really think that by flapping your gums and when nothing that comes out makes sense it's ok, follow your leader you lemming .

In your fastasy world, perhaps. "Our view on Iraq: Why can't Obama admit the obvious? The surge worked" "Why then can't Obama bring himself to acknowledge the surge worked better than he and other skeptics, including this page, thought it would? What does that stubbornness say about the kind of president he'd be?" http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/2008/07/our-vi... It says that Obama's an arrogant jerk, refractory to the truth. It says he'd be a lousy President- one who cannot see the facts when they are plain to everyone else. Except for those in other worlds.

The lovely Paul Dean? NEVER. She may be voting Republican I don't of course - nor care. NOT all Republicans are racist. AND I certainly do not believe all Southerners are racist.

You should be real proud of yourself. and in the words of Denise/Rochelle, you must be a less-educated white.
