I don't know whether these allegations are true or not, but if they are, they may be serious. Remember that lying under oath was the rationale for the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Lying on the application to become a lawyer is grounds for discipline. Having said that, nothing will come of this. If Obama were the average person, the bar make take action, but I believe they will, instead, sweep this under the rug.

The bar doesn't take action on ANYTHING do not not have absolute proof of - he would have to be on tape snorting coke to be CONSIDERED to brought up on disciplinary charges - and then it would have to be proven that it was in fact coke! HOW MANY lawyers do drugs or have done drugs in their past PLENTY!!

Lawyers found guilty of forging court documents are given a 6 mo. suspension ONLY.

And the parking tickets - this actually made my day - this was hilarious!

Is John Edwards still on Obama 's short list for VP? You know with Obama being a family man and all. Don't see how J.E. could be considered with his "mistress" and all. If:(1) there was a question on the application which directly asked if the applicant had ever engaged in the use of illicit drugs,(2) Obama marked the answer "no", and then admitted in one of his books that he did, indeed, use illicit drugs, then it can be assumed that Obama lied on the application. However, as I implied earlier, without more public scrutiny, powerful people are rarely held accountable for such actions, so I don't anticipate any action by the bar.

I don't think the amount of Obama's fines matter as much as the fact that he received 15 parking tickets and was not honest enough to pay them until 15 years later, two weeks before he announced his presidency. It speaks to his integrity - he doesn't have any.

Obama's supporters - like myself do NOT see him as racist - the black theology that you speak of was in direct response to white supremacists.

Wright's church is first and foremost a celebration of the African American culture - which was it's main draw. Because of that - it attracted many of our nation's black elite. As a politician - Obama would very naturally go where the money is to support his personal ambitions. As members of the surrounding area also of course attended - Obama then is able to keep in touch with the needs and concerns of the more disadvantaged class.
