Carol wrote: <quoted text> I seriously doubt the authenticity of this book. Margaret Sanger had VERY harsh words for KKK members as well as those from the Christian Right in her lifetime: "In 1926, in what she called "one of the weirdest experiences I had in lecturing," Sanger even gave a lecture on birth control to the women's auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey, a group she found so ignorant she had to use only "the most elementary terms, as though I were trying to make children understand."[5] Sanger's talk was well-received by the group and as a result "a dozen invitations to similar groups were proffered."[5] In September 1930, she received at home the Nazi anthropologist Eugen Fischer.[6][7]" "Additionally, Sanger also had offending words for Catholics when she stated that she believed that they were “black moles…invading our buildings of democracy." (Her use of the phrase "black moles" is in reference to a form of skin cancer common ONLY in the white race.) Agreed Carol. The dittoheads that accuse her of being racist against blacks are the ones that use the n word in this forum.

Yes. And you have been hitting the incendiary button quite frequently and liberally yourself. Desperation is easy to recognize. Rochelletoo wrote: <quoted text> Hi Carol, Good afternoon!!! You were flagged 'incendiary' for saying Morning. What a bunch of real losers here.

Professors don't know a student's race in a class of 200 students. Which is great for blacks so they can't use thier own discrimination.

I do see people post untrue stories about Obama regarding this issue. Caring about abortion and the women who have them is definitely alright. It is the others who exploit this callously for their political objectives that sicken me. YES I am very sincere. The women who have had abortions..we need to pick up the pieces. 23%-had hallucinations related to the abortion... 35% perceived visitation from the aborted child.. 54% had nightmares related to the abortion.. 69%experienced feeling of craziness.. 73% had flashback of abortion experience. 81% had a preoccupation with the aborted child. And you totally missed the point Corsi was stressing. He stated a truth. He didn't say that HE was fine with it. He said the Pope was. Wasn't that obvious to you? I guess not. Do you understand critical thinking at all? Apparently not. May I recommend you take a course in Logics. It will teach you Logical and Reasonable Deducation Skills. As in how to assess a debate. And critically navigate your way through it. Rochelletoo wrote: <quoted text> Corsi says that the pope is fine with pedophilia in the church as long as the liberal media does not report it. Is that a 'Corsi fact' you accept too? If the pope does not sue Corse, does that make it correct, the pope helps priests practice pedophilia?

There are so many losers here to whom I do not waste my energy responding , it is absolutely startling. Mike, Gunner, TBird, Carol, and a few others are the only ones worth responding to, as they are logical and reasonable in their discourse. Most of the others are histrionic at best, and their continued distortions , and inability to have civilized discourse belies a fundamental inability to discuss fact. Their failed attempts at stinging words together is laughable, and pitiable, truly. I do not even waste my time, but their posts sure are entertaining, kind of like the Joker.

Carol wrote: <quoted text> Gunner - McCain's health care reform proposal is quite a radical one for our nation. Could you extrapolate on this one issue for the board? I think a fervent supporter of McCain's - or at least someone who is going to vote for him would be a better person to ask.

Did you see how one of them seized upon the idea of getting a break for college tuition, while propagating the myth that is is only provided for african-americans? In other words, as long as the Assistance is for HER it is acceptable. Just as long as it is provided for her. There are forums with a far greater intelligence quotient.

IT IS SAD to say NO 100% of American's are not American's. They may live here and take up space and devalue everything that is good but their heart is turned hard.

I already discussed many positive aspects of privatizing in earlier posts. Yeah I'm sure the idea is just jim dandy in your eyes. Again elitist BS. Your assumption about "valuing" education if it were not free is a crock. You enjoy the social/educational divide don't you? Make you feel superior? Schools need to run like a business. Quarterly and yearly instructor and admin review. If you don't do you job your fired period no preferential treatment. Do your freaking job. The apathetic atmosphere exhibited in and about our schools can be remedied but not with privatization. We already have a very large social divide we don't need to slide into the equivalent of 15th and 16th century England. How many people do you suppose will be cut off from information when television goes digital in January? And do not give me the BS about the converter coupon program I've already read about it. Many people have more pressing issues such as clothing and food to spend their money on. Privatization is BS so is your "not on the taxpayer dime" ideas about birth control. It's easier to give birth control pills to a young teen than it is to have the girl kill herself, kill her baby or have an abortion. You whine about abortion but you don't want to do anything to help the situation and let me tell ya ABSTINENCE does not work. BTW black and white inner city kids aren't the only ones having abortions. Suburban kids are having orgies and wearing bands on their arms indicating what kind of sexual activities they engage in ie oral sex, group sex etc. And they have abortions, too many of them. Pull your head from your rectum and REALLY take a look around this ain't your granny's world anymore.

But I grew up in a time when women on the whole were considered fairly subordinate to a man. It has been an ongoing struggle for women to acquire mastery over their own destiny. And this is not done. And only things could be reduced so simply, if only. I am so sorry that you grew up in such a struggle. and i am so sorry for all the pain you have been thru. But i have learned from my pains and heartaches and tribulations. i can not live in the past i must go and look forward to my future if i am ever going to become who i am suppose to be.

I guess lots of people trying to get in, no breaks for us middle class WHITE folk. I'm proud of my kids and I'm there for them and would still prefer to pay their way than let them go for free because because i was ate up and not around as a parent. Interesting how the useless low life gets the reward and the good guys get to pay. We were actually lucky he decided on Dartmouth. It WAS his first choice. The other 3 schools he was applied to would've cost (him and us) a lot more.

I like AA's posts. An extremely intelligent full of life young man. He's another relentless optimist. I'm 51 and know how white men have voted when a black is the candidate. I did not know the shear magnitude of these 'jokers'. They are among us! Some wise person said,'there is on born every minute', might as well try to profit off if like rush, mann coulter, o'liar and banalty. Too bad I have ethics. There is a lot of money in being a black republican, might even get appointed as a token to a plum position. Of course these same republicans will not elect a national lawmaker like Sen. Obama and Rep. Jackson.
