Right on! And then those people can go back to their states and tie up the courts with challenges to their anti-gay laws. More litigation. Litigation here, litigation, there, queer litigation most everywhere. We are on the offensive now, and we intend to stay on the offensive. We will slowly, inexorably wear you down bigots. After we win, the general population is going to hate you for dragging us through this battle and wasting all that money.

That's fine.....let it be up to the states. Let Connecticut allow this if that's what they want. But give the same freedom to other states to prohibit it.

It's not that same sex marriages should be banned...Bring them on. It's how the law was given allowing this measure to "pass" and then shoved onto the Connecticut citizens. Is no one else concerned that FOUR judges sat on their thrones and arrogantly passed this law allowing same sex marriages, WITHOUT a citizen vote? I think I have rightful cause now to take MY CASE to those very same judges and demand my desires to marry and have three husbands. Maybe I should fight to allow polygamy here in the great state of Connecticut.(ick) Something stinks in our courts here in Connecticut when judges are allowed to use such authority without going through the proper and lawful government process. Shame on them.

Well that's good, maybe all the angry gays in California can move to Connecticut. They can get married and there's no blacks and latinos to stop them.

This should not pass laws like this . People are going to want to start changing laws left and right. The laws were made and have been the same forever . To me this is special treatment or maybe doing it just to shut them up or maybe one of the judges is gay. Take this how ever you want it. God ment for marriage to be between 1 man and 1 woman. His word says this . But people mock God everyday why should this surprise me .

Ok, We have 2 wars going on, our economy has hit the skids, people are hanging on by a thread. Why is this even on the front pages of our news. Nobody gives a rats ass about your weird lifestyle. California should haul you all out to the rock so you can live in your own weird world! Go home, lock yourself in and stop trying to rally support. Hell in a handbasket is an understatement!

I don't think that the White House should be used as a bully pulpit on issues like abortion, gun control, criminal sentencing, or gay marriage. I'm a strong believer in the concept that states should enforce their own cultural norms, and that's what the Founding Fathers intended. If you don't like your state, then move somewhere else. Over time, those laws and cultural norms that prove their worth will spread to other states organically.
