sonicfilter wrote: <quoted text> Conservative Daniel Larison has been documenting Willard Romney’s neo-con/Bush foreign policy better than anyone. I gave an example in a post the other day, Romney’s Scary Foreign Policy. Well today Larison brought us an example of just how scary that foreign policy might be. Report: Bolton Is a “Leading Candidate” for Secretary of State That’s a terrifying prospect, but it’s also not very surprising. Many of Romney’s foreign policy views sound very much like Bolton’s. Bolton is a prominent supporter of Romney. There is every reason to assume that Romney will govern in a fashion that would generally satisfy Bolton. The hope that Romney’s foreign policy statements are all campaign posturing and don’t mean anything has always been just that–a hope. The fact that Bolton is even being considered for this position ought to provide all the confirmation anyone needs that Romney’s positions on Iran and Russia in particular are more than just election-year demagoguery. Even when the Republicans controlled the Senate Bolton could not get 50 votes for approval to be UN ambassador. But that was yesterday’s Republican party – if the Republicans take the senate I have no doubt he would be approved. Yes, they will use the nuclear option. If Romney wins the US will be at war with the world and the wars won’t be paid for. Don’t forget that when the Republicans are in charge deficits don’t matter. I guess it could be worse, I haven’t heard Frank Gaffney mentioned for a position in Romney’s administration yet. He is perhaps the only one who is crazier than Bolton. http://themoderatevoice.com/150556/romneys-sc... Throw Mitt a hint eh? sonicmoron reply: Sorry!.. I am a "Recovery Summer" lifeguard.. Mitt Romney Visits Subsidized Farms, Knocks Big Government Spending In front of federally subsidized cows, Romney reiterated his opposition to big-government spending. Wayne Barrett speaks to the cows’ owners, who say they dislike Obama even while they take government money. The black-and-white cows lumbering behind Mitt Romney during his sit-down with Bob Schieffer last Sunday on Face the Nation actually feed off the same big government the presidential candidate spent much of the interview deriding. When Romney told Schieffer that “the only solution to taming an out-of-control spending government is to cut spending,” the bovines in the background could be forgiven for worrying. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/06... Maybe he should stick to foreign policy?

I wish you idiots would calve off and form your own party.

My question is how far back Congress and the republican bobos should investigate the federal government supplying guns used to kill Americans. Should we start with Iraq and Afghanistan and go backwards? It's really in domestic gun crime gun tracking that's gonna take alot of time and mon ey. But money is never an object for republicans as long as the rich and corporate aren't providing it.

Certainly bashing the goofball faction of your party's insane tendency to attack the Democrats for the things they themselves do and the fact that you idiots are so stupid you don't recognize it. Yep, its what I do.

You failed to make any connection between the two and if you assume that readers will do it for you, try again. You are clueless and wandering in the desert of stupidity. Of course I don't expect an idiot like you to get it, you don't know anything. There's a clear reason for talking about the 1920-21 depression with respect to what has happened since. I made that clear and anybody who knows history and understands the interplay between the economy and the government will understand it. You certainly weren't my target audience, you'd have been better off just scrolling past it to the next shiny chunk of red meat.

They rammed Obamacare through Congress even though members of their own party complained they didn't have time to read the bill much less understand it and its ramifications. If Congress rules that Obamacare is unconstitutional, Democrats will be to blame and you know it.

Wow, cut 'n paste straight from Wikipedia and trying to pass it off as original material. "Old Right voice" is not a "traditional 'conservative' website". The only original material in the post is completely self-contradictory and nonsensical. What an idiot, you should just stick with plagiarism.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave... OBAMA AD: Job creation in Massachusetts “fell” to 47th under Romney. FACT: Massachusetts’ state ranking for job growth went from 50th the year before he took office, to 28th in his final year. OBAMA AD: Romney “cut taxes for millionaires”. FACT: Romney opposed a plan to impose a capital gains tax retroactively insisting on delaying the hike eight months. That’s different than pushing for a tax cut. OBAMA AD: Romney raised taxes on the middle class. FACT: Romney imposed a number of fees but none of them targeted middle-income persons. Also, Romney proposed cutting the state income tax three times — a measure that would have resulted in tax cuts for all taxpayers — but he was rebuffed every time by the state’s Democratic Legislature. OBAMA AD: Romney “left the state $2.6 billion deeper in debt.” FACT: Long-term bond debt used for capital improvements rose under Romney as it had in the years before he took office. But Romney wasn’t piling up yearly deficits to support operating expenses the way the federal government is because Massachusetts requires balanced budgets. OBAMA AD: When Romney was governor,“Massachusetts lost 40,000 manufacturing jobs. FACT: The state lost a greater number of manufacturing jobs in the four years before Romney took office, and more in the four years after he left. In fact, the rate of job loss in manufacturing slowed during Romney’s time as governor. OBAMA AD: Romney “outsourced call center jobs to India.” FACT: He vetoed a measure that would have prevented the state from doing business with a state contractor that was locating state customer-service calls in India. Democrats who controlled the Legislature could have overridden the veto but didn’t. The veto was supported by leading newspapers as a savings to taxpayers. http://factcheck.org/2012/06/obama-twists-rom... ...when first we practice to deceive... Good morning.
