Do you think Patrick Leahy would like him to visit Vermont or would Patrick Kennedy want him to visit Rhode Island. Neither place is very inviting to a Republican. I use to do my vacations in Vermont, havent since Jumping Jim Jeffords jumped ship. Live close to RI never thought about the place since I was home ported out of there from 59-73.

GWB is a smart man. He ignores the liberals on all fronts and refuses to deal with idiots. That is why he avoids the "Biggest Little State in the Union" and "The Stickiest State in the Union."

Vermont is a beautiful state. We should all be thankful that Bush has not dirtied up the scenery with his chimpy mug. Other than that, who really gives a shit where or who he visits? He's a freakin' zero!

Is there anything else the news media (al-Qaida) can dig up about this president. If you listened to Fred Thompson on tv last night. He said al-Qaida is alive and well in the US. Why not destroy america through the internet and news media. They are doing a good job of division.

Thank you, Wayne, for finally agreeing to what I have been saying for a couple of years. This is one of the main reasons we should have spent $1-trillion on safety and security within our own borders instead of the Iraq quagmire. Have you ever heard of the term "diversionary tactic"?

Bush hasn't visited Vermont because he is a coward, afraid of those Green Mountain Boys. Also because Vermonters are true Conservatives not neocons....they believe in Thrift, Conservative Manners, Reserved Speech and Respect for Individual Rights no longer practiced by the Conservative Party under GWB.

GWB doesn't visit the Ocean State of Rhode Island because he can't swim. He also has disdain for one of the original thirteen state whose Capital was founded by Roger Williams who worked for religious and political freedom something that is lacking in GWB vocabulary.

Two States that made this Nation great but are disrespected by a Snob from the Bush Administration...shame, shame on them!

Think about it this way, we are fighting a war with more than one front. We so far have been doing well. Pray we continue to do so.

Do you really think anyone in VT or RI would welcome him?

He hasn't gone because it would be embarrassing for him to do so. He knows where he's not welcome.

Maybe these two states have never invited him to visit! If I was not invited I would not force myself upon them either. It is those states right. I am sure they still get federal funding, for projects. They are probably in love with fat faced, belly and fat Ted Kennedy. Can he still swim? Probably floats well!!!

I think it's because he knows his approval rating would be higher in those states if he didn't visit there.

Since when did GWB need an invitation. NYC wished he would stay away they have enough problems with commuter traffic and they have to stop everything
just so Laura and Condi Rice can go shopping.

That's not fair. Those states should share in the suffering along with the rest of us.

No, we did quite well in Afghanistan and then dropped the ball there. Bin Laden still roams the hills of Pakistan because we didn't finish the job. Unlike the insurgents and terrorists in Iraq, the ones within our borders simply lie in wait for an opportune moment. That $1-trillion spent here instead of in Iraq SHOULD be able to root the bastards out. TSA and "homeland insecurity" sure as hell ain't doing their job. And I hear tell about 96% of all foreign cargo arriving at American ports goes unchecked. Sounds a little like Russian roulette only with potentially more dangerous weapons.

Bush has traveled extensively and visited
dozens of foreign countries during his
administration. Vermont and Rhode Island
are simply not two of them.

It is noteworthy that neither have any
oil.

Arnold has been getting advice from Maria. Another Kennedy socialist. Poor man used to think for himself. His Republican values have been terminated by his wife.

Well that might show he is smarter than most think. I went TDY to Vermont, no thank you. The state is so nice and green (cold also) but full of hippies! Heck I was walking down the street and had to keep telling the dirty hippies to get away from me. There were a few normal people I met, but way too many freaks. You can keep the area until it reforms and becomes more of a normal state.
