3. After all with biological evolution has been proved. Man made climate change has been disproved. With biological evolution, it accounts for what happened in the past. That it accounts for dinosaurs and sabertooth tigers. If anything biological evolution proves climate change again. Isn't that a real pisser. That biological evolution disproves man made climate change.

Five government and university climate scientists contacted said they were most disturbed by Wojick's project, fearing the teaching would be more propaganda rooted in politics than peer-reviewed science.

Thanks for posting that reference. This solar activity is what solar physicists have been writing papers on for a while now. It is work that has been ignored by the IPCC because it doesn't fit their agenda.

The low activity of cycle 24 and the onset of colder weather were predicted and it looks like both unfolding as anticipated.

Most studies I have read put the solar minima at approx 2030. With warm up by 2060.

The studies not only predicted weather changes, but more importantly a variety of changes in solar activity. The solar wind and magnetic field were predicted to lose value and when measured by the Ulysses satelite in 2007, that's exactly what the acutal measurements indicated.

Altho working with good information is always better than with a lack of information, this is not really good news for us.

Cold is much more difficult to live with than warm. If we find we have been preparing for the wrong climate change, who will we have to thank for that?

Go Anthony!!! We appreciate someone who is focused on providing information that can be backed up with science.

We want our schools to teach science, not consensus. We don't want our children learning that the himalays will melt by 2035 because the publisher of such info didn't bother to verify the prediction.

We want our children to learn how the climate process works, but don't want them to think that 'missing heat' is an OK scientific condition. It isn't.

We want them the learn the scientific method, not learn how to subvert such requirements because your data doesn't fit.

This has been going for a while now, most schools are subjected to objections by parents and have limited what they teach about climate science. Many people are unimformed, but that doesn't make them stupid.

Most know that you can only depend on disaster stories so long. When the missing heat can't be found, the pacific islands and the NYC west hwy are still above water, when the warmest year ever is still only .498*C over the average, then most people, even the uninformed, begin to demand some science to back it up.

It not 'heat' you are 'missing', it's science.

Northie, everyone who gets a paycheck gets it from someone else.

If I remember you get a taxpayer provided paycheck. Shouldn't we take what you write with a healthy amount of skepticism because you are protecting your paycheck.

Where you get your paycheck can influence what you do and how you do it. So to avoid being taken in by paycheck agendas, ignore the news media and read the actual science.

So what if Anthony Watts gets money from Koch Brothers. Are you taking his word without verification? Do you just believe whatever he posts?

Watts and the opposite, John Cook, are posting their own opinions of what they think the science says. Only a fool would rely on their opinions.

Not saying either is ignorant, neither is. They each have an agenda, just like everyone of us. Read for info, but always verify with the actual science what you read.

If you read and study the actual science, the data, methodology and conclusions will speak for themselves. Watts and Cook can point you in a direction, but you must walk the road.
