This schould be in every newspaper. To let people know that Obama was not a Muslem and did not study only that relegion. And when he was in that school. he was only a small child.
People must read every thing about him. Not just what people tell them.

I'm very sad to see that being a Muslim or coming from a Muslim background is now seen as an accusation people try to deny.

Are you kidding? Have you been living in a hole the last 6 years? Muslims have been trying to blow us up for years-all the way back to the 83 Beirut bombing of the American barracks. We put up with it then and when they tried to blow up the USS Cole and even when they unsuccessfully tried to blow up the World Trade Center in 1993. But when they succeeded on 9/11 it finally got our attention. And Americans don't just get mad they get even. Some of the more open minded of us thought that maybe only the poor Islamic boys with no future were talked into doing the killing by nutcase Mullahs. But then when the london doctor decided to become a suicide bomber-well, that blew that theory out of the water. We've decided Muslims want us all dead no matter what. What else can we think. Actions speak louder than words. So we don't trust you as far as we can throw you. And we try to distance ourselves.

Here is Obama's christian credentials. This is the church he supports and is a member:

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian… Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

Not exactly enclusive is he? Whites or hispanics need not apply. Yes ... he'll make a wonderful president ... if you are black.

Its time to toss this into the urban legend bin.

We can put it right alongside the Oliver North tried to warn about Bin Laden in 1987, but Gore/Kerry (insert any Democrat) ridiculed him, and had it struck from the record.

I totally agree with your comment. Actions do speak louder than words. There is nothing peaceful about their ultimate militant agenda. All that we stand for...freedom of speech, religion, etc. is at risk. If Obama is mulsim, then his true religion needs to be exposed.

I don't understand why your church is differentiating between color - whether black, white, red, yellow, etc. You are either a believer in Christ or not, irrespective of color. I don't understand the emphasis of black. We are called to love the Body of Christ...I don't believe Jesus saw color, but hearts.

May I ask exactly whom you presume to speak for when you say "we"? Not everyone has concluded that all Muslims are evil, that Islam is inherently violent or evil, or that all Muslims want "us" (whoever that is) dead.

*You* have chosen to distance yourself and take refuge in fear and ignorance to explain a complicated and frightening world and to justify a simplified response to that frightening, complicated world. There are other people like you, but I doubt that they are truly a majority.

Jane, get ahold of yourself. Should people hate Christians for what a relatively few of them have done? Muslim's are just everyday people. Some are very religious, some are not. But religion has only a small part in the violence that is going on.

The fact that he took off his American flag lapel pin right in the middle of his campaign to be president of the United States of America really bothers me. Actions DO speak louder than words and that action spoke volumes. It was like slapping me and most other Americans in the face. And then he had the gall to say he was GOING to make America great. America is already great. We don't need him to make it that way. He's so 'people stupid' he didn't even understand how that one act was going to affect Americans. How is he going to be savvy enough to understand how his actions are going to affect the rest of the world? The answer is, he's not!
He took the flag pin off because he recognized it for the empty marketing ploy that it is. Anyone who bases their vote on whether someone wraps himself in the flag deserves the government they get.

a radical that Obama is turning out to
