Sharon wrote: <quoted text> Here's the true McCain...a scary man and his "spiritual guide": You may have heard of Rev. John Hagee, the McCain supporter who said God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its homosexual "sins." Well now meet Rev. Rod Parsley, the televangelist megachurch pastor from Ohio who hates Islam. According to David Corn of Mother Jones, Parsley has called on Christians to wage war against Islam, which he considers to be a "false religion." In the past, Parsley has also railed against the separation of church and state, homosexuals, and abortion rights, comparing Planned Parenthood to Nazis. John McCain actively sought and received Parsley's endorsement in the presidential race. McCain has called Parsley "a spiritual guide," and he hasn't said whether he shares Parsley's vicious anti-Islam views. That's because the mainstream media refuses to ask. And so, we've taken matters into our own hands, joining Mother Jones to present the truth about McCain's pastor: Watch the video: http://bravenewfilms.org/watch/22033020/38133... Since the media won't question McCain about his deeply bigoted pastor, it's up to you to call attention to this issue. Make McCain's pastor problem a major story by forwarding this video to your family, friends, and colleagues. Digg it! Anything to spread the word. We can't let McCain get away with aligning himself with a religious leader who's called for an all-out war on Islam, someone who draws no distinctions between Muslims and violent Islamic extremists. Now is the crucial time to act. Yours, Robert Greenwald and the Brave New Team --- The republican party seems to believe the American people are deaf, dumb, blind and stupid! Bush and many other high ranking politicians just keep on saying things that are not true so many times that some people give up on refuting them! No weapons of mass destruction! Saddam is long dead! The Iraqis have a new government! Time to let them sink or swim,we have done all we can,and if they won't stand up and embrace their own government we need to let go of the reins and save our own men and women! McCain is a wannabe Bush! His policies and beliefs will only sink this nation deeper into the morass of failure and lies of the present administration!

To all of the previous 925 posting. Listen to George Carlins, satire called "Dumb Americans" . In short "there this "club" (local-state-federal)" and we,re (joe taxpayer) are not in it . We have no say --cause the people we elected "join the club" and do not listen to those who put them there .They all of sudden "know whats best for us" and you notice we never get a referendum to voice our opinion????

Drevelyn Minor wrote: Bill Clinton Switches to Obama! In what some Democratic Party insiders are calling a particularly ominous sign for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, former president Bill Clinton today became the latest superdelegate to switch from Sen. Clinton to her rival, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill). Sources close to the former president said that Mr. Clinton had been mulling such a defection for weeks, as early as the night of the Iowa primary, but that he only decided to make his decision public today. “The American people want change,” Mr. Clinton said at a press conference in New York.“Lord knows I do.” The former president said that “sometimes, at the end of a race, you have to put an old horse down,” adding,“I’m not speaking metaphorically.” Mr. Clinton fueled speculation that he was seeking a role in an Obama administration, saying,“I know my way around the Oval Office, and I know how the super-secret double-lock works.” The former president said he would relish a return to the White House, calling his tenure there “good times.” For her part, Sen. Clinton said that the defection of her husband would not deter her from staying in the race, adding,“To my knowledge, he’s the only white voter Sen. Obama has.” The New York senator denied that she was playing the race card, arguing,“Every other member of my family is supporting me, and by the way, they’re white.” Elsewhere, a defiant John McCain said that his wife will not release her tax returns,“and neither will my girlfriend.” http://www.borowitzreport.com / The above is the biggest crock I've ever heard. You really need to get a life. NO OBAMA!!!!

Good for you. A list of things that happened during the clinton "administration". Please notice how they don't have a list that says: We did "X" and "Y" happened, only that "Y" happened. I understand that as a clinton supporter you probably don't have a grasp on logic, so I'll give you a bye. Never mind.

I gave you a couple of links that told the clinton did nothing. There are plenty more. All end with them saying that clinton started the economy on a downturn toward the end of his term. Keep on posting links to things that happened while clinton was in office that he didn't cause. It's pretty amusing. Not worth your time? That really means something. If you're truly a supporter of the clintons, you're in the demographic that has a lot of time on their hands. Thanks for playing though.

What was the unemployment rate then vs. now? http://www.bls.gov/cps/cpsaat1.pdf During the eight years of the Clinton Administration -- which, by the way, raised taxes -- about 23 million jobs were created, which comes out to about 240,000 jobs per month. By comparison, only a net of 5.6 million jobs have been created during the Bush years, which comes out to about 71,000 per month. Even taking away the job losses caused by a recession and the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Bush years come up short: In the 47 consecutive months of job growth since the fall of 2003, the per-month average has been about 177,000 jobs. What's more, many Americans don't feel that great about the economy right now. In the latest NBC/WSJ poll, 68% of respondents say the country is in an economic recession -- or will be in the next 12 months. And on a 1-to-10 scale, the mean grade respondents gave the economy in the poll was 5.6. By comparison, the grade they gave in June 1997 (well before the tech boom of the late 1990s) was 6.2.
