Republican Paul Ryan has fired the first shot in this battle, telling POLITICO that --- "We face a totally predictable debt crisis, and this is the fourth year in a row that the president has ducked it..."

So, Paul, is austerity, like in Britian and Greece the answer?

<quoted text>And what did he cut spending on besides the MILITARY (WHO DEFENDS US)I THINK YOU HAVE IT WRONG. He increases spending and wants a few trillion more. He spends without ever giving a thought about how to pay back. He has spent more than any President in U.S. history.
WE just brought the troops back from Iraq. We are starting to bring the troops back from Afghanistan. Why do we need to keep military spending at the same high war level?

rethugs have been very clear that their only purpose is to defeat obama even if it hurts the country! From the very beginning of obama's administration they have tried to block any and all efforts to improve the economy and health care system. The fact that they are going to block the budget is just more political posturing and should come as no surprise.
they aren't blocking the budget. Reid isn't even bringing up for a vote. Maybe because last year obammys budget was voted down 97-0.

This doesn't surprise me at all. The President could adopt every single Republican proposal and policy and the Republicans would still block it; just because of who the President is.
the republicans are not blocking it. In fact they plan to bring it to the senate floor to force a vote on it.

Paul Ryan, like most Republicans, is ignorant and dishonest. The President has not "ducked" anything, but been forced to beg, plead, and twist arms to try to get some sort of short-term spending agreements, and deficit-ceiling increases, through the idiotic, Teabag-obsessed Congress.

Republicans refuse to permit the passage of a budget and create crises around spending and deficit-reduction agreements, then blame Obama for 'not being able to pass a budget.' Their hypocrisy is as obvious as their partisan need for issues to use in an election year, which is all this is.

The good thing is, as more people see more of this behavior, Republicans will have "no chance" of retaining the House, taking the Senate, or occupying the White House. And those are GOOD things.:)
republicans aren't standing in the way of the budget. Harry Reid won't even bring it up for a vote .

Because the military troops we're bringing home are being replaced with armed contractors from Blackwater at twice the salary of our troops.
The same constant is that private contractors are the only ones benafiting, yet you don't hear a peep from the liberal MSM.

Thankfully Ryan is attempting to keep us from ending up like Greece. The ONLY State which has let the far left run the show is Calif..........it has 47th rated public schools and is has a bone crushing $500,000,000,000 .......in State DEBT.

Obama's spending budgets, spending bills, debt ceiling increases so he can spend, tax increases so he can spend, are being rejected by the House and Paul Ryan fortunately so that businesses can feel more confident that Obama's nepotism for spending on himself and cronies will not interfere with the economy. This blocking of Obama's spending is THE REASON WHY JOBS ARE INCREASING SLIGHTLY. BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH. IT IS TAKING ENERGY TO FIGHT OBAMA'S CORRUPTION.

WE MUST VOTE THE DISASTER IN CHIEF OUT OF OFFICE 2012

WE MUST GET ACTIVE TO CIRCULATE TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA BECAUSE THE MEDIA IS WITH STUPIDO. They will lie outright to protect this INCOMPETENT IN CHIEF for POLITICAL REASONS AT THE RISK OF MIDDLE AMERICANS.

PASS THIS AROUND, WE NOW KNOW HOW MEDIA GETS MANIPULATED:

http://dailycaller.com/2012/02/12/inside-medi...

Founded by Brock in 2004 as a liberal counterweight to “conservative misinformation” in the press, Media Matters has in less than a decade become a powerful player in Democratic politics. The group operates in regular coordination with the highest levels of the Obama White House, as well as with members of Congress and progressive groups around the country. Brock, who collected over $250,000 in salary from Media Matters in 2010, has himself become a major fundraiser on the left. According to an internal memo obtained by TheDC, Media Matters intends to spend nearly $20 million in 2012 to influence news coverage.

Donors have every reason to expect success, as the group’s effect on many news organizations has already been profound.“We were pretty much writing their prime time,” a former Media Matters employee said of the cable channel MSNBC.“But then virtually all the mainstream media was using our stuff.”

The article is worth reading to the end.

Both parties are a joke. They're only concern is getting their members reelected. Free trade and open immigration have destroyed all our decent jobs yet nobody mentions either as part of a solution. Insane spending and a tax code that encourages outsourcing are given lip service politicians but neither party has the courage to buck the rich multinational corporations that pay them the bribe money they need for reelection. They are running this country toward oblivion. We have to get rid of both parties or at least all the two term or better incumbants. Ron Paul is the only candidate with new ideas and the courage to say no to the parties.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
