Obama's Budget: "No Chance" of Making it Through Congress?

Hairlip Reid has already stated that he has no plans to push a budget through the Senate this year. He and the Dictator-In-Chief will try to blame that fact on Republicans.

(CNSNews.com )– House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said that Congress does not need an official federal budget because it can just adopt appropriations bills and authorization policies as needed to keep operating.

ITS BEEN over 1000 days since democrats passed any budget...This so they can keep spending!.Like Mad men!,like they are ..SPENDING AMERICA INTO OBLIVION!!

rethugs have been very clear that their only purpose is to defeat obama even if it hurts the country! From the very beginning of obama's administration they have tried to block any and all efforts to improve the economy and health care system. The fact that they are going to block the budget is just more political posturing and should come as no surprise.

This doesn't surprise me at all. The President could adopt every single Republican proposal and policy and the Republicans would still block it; just because of who the President is.

what about those bills sitting in Harry Reid's office?

Paul Ryan, like most Republicans, is ignorant and dishonest. The President has not "ducked" anything, but been forced to beg, plead, and twist arms to try to get some sort of short-term spending agreements, and deficit-ceiling increases, through the idiotic, Teabag-obsessed Congress.

Republicans refuse to permit the passage of a budget and create crises around spending and deficit-reduction agreements, then blame Obama for 'not being able to pass a budget.' Their hypocrisy is as obvious as their partisan need for issues to use in an election year, which is all this is.

The good thing is, as more people see more of this behavior, Republicans will have "no chance" of retaining the House, taking the Senate, or occupying the White House. And those are GOOD things.:)

You do know that the Democrats controlled both the House and Senate until 2010, right? And that no Dem controlled congress has balance a budget in 40 years. So it was Democrats who stopped Obama's progress.
