Please don't get too excited about Palin. her delivery wasn't bad, but compared to McCain, a dead rat could give a better speech when properly hooked to electrodes. Palin has no depth, and her experiences and background issues are just now coming to light. I believe she will be found lacking in many instances.

As to Troopergate, the brother in law has admitted to child abuse in an interview on CNN. Did you see that? He should have been fired for that alone but there were several other reasons. If the chief refused, he should have been fired for among other things, not performing his duties and responsibilities.
