LIeberman is one of the most powerful men in the country and is a tie breaker on partisan issues. He would be crazy to give that up for a dead-end job of VP.

AG, maybe... SecDef, I don't think so... Supreme Court, you bet.

The best thing that could have ever happened to Joe was being turned on by the Greenwich limosine liberals. Now he's not beholding to that crowd. I don't agree with him on most issues, but you gotta at least believe that he votes with his own true brain and his heart.

While I'm not wild about Lieberman, at least he mopped the floor with that far-left, moveon.org nut Lamont. What a loser that guy was.

Only the young and the dumb of the Democrats would call him a traitor.

We use to admire politicians that did the right thing despite their party line. Not anymore we need to be sheep or ELSE.
That is why the political systme is broken in this country. It is not about party its about the doing what is right for the people. Do you remember that FRANK.

Joe Lieberman is a smart and open politician who is backing a candidate with experience, wisdom and understanding of the world. The m-o-r-o-n-s voting for Obama are doing it because it is FASHIONABLE. There is no comparision. Obama is likened to letting a teenager make educational and life decisions for the kids they baby sit.

Go for it Joe we are behind you even if a few of the idiots from the democratic party aren't.

Who left who, Frankie? As I recall, you lefties threw old Joe down the stairs for having the right position on the war. Seems it is you who are the traitors.

If there were more democrats like Senator Lieberman, the world would be a better place. Instead the party is populated by morons like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Howard "Yeaaarrrggghhh" Dean. Joe Lieberman would make an excellent Attorney General and, if he was running for President, I would seriously consider voting for him.

Lieberman's just thrilled that someone's running who will continue to smite Israel's enemies for them.

Maybe if McCain wins and Lieberman's his running mate, he'll finally be able to censor all our media,(he's even after You Tube), and make the world a better place.

Of course we won't be able to lavish any praise on Lieberman's brave new world here, because this forum will be one of the first places to go...

The G.O.P. Chairman will ask Joe Lieberman to put the microphone behind him at the podium and bend over slightly so the delegates can hear him speak clearly.

The CT Donkeys haven't gotten over Lamont's loss, and they will go absolutely berserk when McCain wins and Leiberman is offered a job in the Administration.

Meanwhile, Murphy has hitched his wagon to Pelosi and her ridiculous plan to tax the oil companies (a tax that will be passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices) AND force them to drill more dry wells.

Looks like Murphy is toast.

Talk about paranoid delusions! It's a volunteer military and will remain so. Sometimes I wish it were a requirement to serve then maybe a few of you would know what it is to serve something greater than yourself.
As for Joe he's a great guy and I'm proud he represents all the people of CT.

if ever there was a person that i did not trust it is joe lieberman. what a turn coat he is, just looking out for himself and the country be damned. listening to him speak on television is a hardship, he is a repulsive person and I have heard many jewish people say the same about him.

it was lieberman that caused Al Gore to lose the presidency. liebermn is a two faced, shallow judas.

I believe it was reported this evening, that a campaign event mccain surfaced the idea of a draft. Thus if I am delusional, I at least have company.
By the way, I do know what it is to serve something other/larger than myself. I suggest you read The Art of War by Sun-Tsu. You really shouldn't make assumptions. Argruements based on logic are more 'fun'. Semper Fi !

As always, good luck to all!

If Gore had managed to take his home state he would have won the election. The people of his home state wouldn't even vote for him It must of been that I invented the internet that did him in! I can see there still a few hanging chads out there today what a sad end for Mr. Gore.
