This is truly horrifying. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of these men, and my hope is that they will be recovered somehow.

Kathy, I brought that up because every one is crying over some mercenaries, yes I said mercenaries, they are paid private soldiers working for a contractor, who have been kidnapped. They are trained adults and they are there voluntarily.

I contrast this to what they are actually doing over there in Iraq - they are shooting children for sport. No one sheds a tear for the child, but everyone gets all weepy and starts waving their flags and affixing their yellow magnetic ribbons to their SUVs in support of killing even more women and children who have done nothing wrong.

I see something wrong with this situation, and it is the same sickness of blindness that afflicted the citizens of Germany during the 1930s.

What were they doing in Iraq anyway? Holiday? see the sights? Perhaps converse with the locals? carry out missionary work perhaps? Nope, they were mercenaries, they went there for the money, to be rich, and things went very bad for them, it's a risk of the life of a mercenary, you have to accept that. Sad, then again if they didn't want to get rich quick they would still be home, and with all their fingers still intact too!

There is a lot of finger pointing going on around instead of solutions being made. Sure atrocities occur in violence. Have you forgotten our found ing history of the atrocities committed on both sides, eg, disemboweling, heads, hands being cut off and exhibited. Have you forgotten or were you taught differently. Hatred is in the world and until Mankind starts acting differently atrocities will continue. they are meant to shock the other side to feed the sense that you are nothing and to dispirit your enemy.
When will you wake up to the fat that the world is not perfect that there will always be someone trying to go as far as he can to make a point. OPEN UP YOUR EYES AND TAKE THE ROSE COLORED GLASSES OFF.
