Just because I am a republican doesn't mean that I will not vote for the best qualified person for the job. Obama is a totally different subject matter.
His election would be disasterous for this nation and throw us back 50 years or more in time. Nobama for this voter.
I guess with McCain it is better, since he will only set us back 35 or so years, Once McCain is in Expect the cold war to return along with Draft Cards.
Also expect longer tours of duty, along with a mandatory stop loss program, which will also go into effect.
I am not a fan of either candidate, they both have their scary side. I don't know if Obama has enough experience however I am impressed with what some of the republicans have said about his ability to cross the aisle. Johnny boy well nothing but arrogance and Character assassinations. Someone should get a count at how many times he has had the film clips edited because of his temper.
The big question here is Do we want or need a guy who can't control his temper for 15 minutes on camera with his finger on the button when the phone rings at 3am and disturbs the old guys sleep.
With Obama I would say speeches do not secure or protect this country, I also don't think his Health-care plans are viable and for sure don't like the sound of a first year 894 Million tax hike.
