An interesting Wall Street Journal Article from today entitled "Hillary's Last Hope" by Lawrence B. Lindsey. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1206579502861... Regarding the June 3, 2008 primary re-vote in Michigan between Clinton & Obama that was just about ready to be put in place, the Obama supporters got this re-vote idea killed at the very last moment. It seems Senator Obama will do ANYTHING necessary to secure this nomination, even if that means silencing the voices of the voters in the 4th & 8th largest states in the nation. But...isn't Senator Obama's campaign almost solely based on the loftier ideal of "NOT Politics as usual???" I'm confused, someone explain please.

You can no longer say that Obama doesn't "bring political baggage with him" nor can you say that, "he represents a clear break from the 'old school' politics that has dominated Washington for much too long." Ted Kennedy is the living fossil of "old school politics." You also reported, "Obama's largest perceived liability is his relative lack of experience" and then qualified it by saying, "this lack of experience will force Obama to surround himself with people who do have the necessary experience." In my humble opinion you all need to re-evaluate your position. http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/03/21/the-ful...

The truth is, it doesn't matter what the outcome in Michigan or Florida turns out to be. You'll still have the Super Delegates determine who will be the nominee for the Democrats. Which means it didn't matter what happened in Texas or Ohio or what will happen in Pennsylvania, either. Not to confuse you, but none of the current delegates on one side or the other have to stay in the corner they currently find themselves. Let's say this Rav-error-end Wright thing became so controversial that it looked impossible for Obamma to win in Nov. Any or all the delegates could then decide to side with Hillary Clinton. Just to show you how convoluted this whole thing is, one delegate in Florida (I think) suggested they throw out all the election results and give the nomination to Al Gore.....

He just disagrees on policy. Just because you disagree with someone does not make them evil, or stupid. Think about it. Smart enough to know the tricks of Obama and smart enough to vote for Hillary Clinton in November Obama is just a phony and a fraud

How does it feel to be in the stupidist 10% of the American people? Poll: 1 in 10 Voters Mistakenly Think Obama Is Muslim Staff AP News Mar 27, 2008 15:51 EST One in 10 voters believes Barack Obama is Muslim, a mistaken impression that lingers across party lines, a poll showed Wednesday. Fourteen percent of Republicans, 10 percent of Democrats and 8 percent of independents mistakenly think he is Muslim, according to a survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Just over half of each group correctly identified him as Christian, while about a third said they don't know his religion. The false rumor that the Democratic presidential candidate and Illinois senator is Muslim has been fanned on the Internet and conservative talk radio. It has persisted despite the recent controversy over divisive remarks by his longtime pastor at the Trinity United Church of Christ, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Those saying they have heard a lot about Wright's comments are about as likely as others to say they think Obama is Muslim, the poll showed. Conservatives, less educated voters and white evangelical Protestants are likelier to believe Obama is Muslim.

I agree people mistakenly think Obamma is a Muslim, but that is just misperception because of misinformation being put out by who knows who. Should I call all the people stupid who have been told from the side you've chosen to side with who put out misinformation about the Iraq war--"false intelligence," "invented intelligence," "made up WMD threats" and the like? You know as I do (but most don't) that there were investigations by Senate Intelligence and Ethics Committees that found all those allegations untrue and unfounded, yet a large portion of America believes them to be true. Should I call all those folks stupid?

Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004 Obama opposed reparations for slavery. After his election, Obama subtly changed his view, stating he was against "just signing over checks to African-Americans," leaving open the possibility of other forms of reparations would be acceptable to him (Chicago Tribune 11/14/2004). Obama hangs with the reparations crowd. Now guilt by association is certainly unfair. But if you hang with the reparations crowd, they must see something in you they like. Indeed they do. U. S. Representative John Conyers, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is reportedly waiting for Obama to be elected so Conyers can rush a reparations law through Congress.(The Hill, 3/13/ 2007) Hmmm. Does Conyers know something we don't? Finally, the most telling indication that Obama has a secret addiction to reparations is reflected in those who support him and those whom he supports: the most notorious race-baiter on the Chicago City Council, Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman. Haven't heard of Dorothy Tillman? You better learn about Obama's #1 supporter. And fast. You really should know who she is. Tillman has almost single-handedly made a joke of the City of Chicago in the public finance industry over her preoccupation with slavery and reparations. Tillman supports Obama and Obama supports Tillman. Last week Obama endorsed Tillman for reelection. Tillman was forced into a runoff after her opponents failed to agree on a single candidate to oppose her. Tillman was an early supporter of Obama's in his rise to prominence over the past decade. And Tillman is a disgrace. Her favorite pastime is abusing banks and financial institutions that want to do business with the City of Chicago. A regular feature of council proceedings is Tillman flaying banks for "owning slaves" at some remote point in history over 150 years ago. Using a 2002 "Slavery Era Disclosure Ordinance" that she authored, Tillman has accused Bank of America of having a predecessor bank that made "leg irons for slaves." Wachovia, J.P. Morgan Chase, LaSalle Bank, Lehman Brothers, American General and Nationwide Life Insurance were all brought before Tillman's mast and whipped for their ties to slavery, however remote, over 150 years ago. Indeed, Tillman has been quoted as saying her goal is to "repair the damage of 400 years" of slavery. "America owes us," Tillman demands (Sun-Times 3/26/2007). And yes, Obama has endorsed this carnival-style extortionist for reelection. So much for the audacity of Obama, so much for the "smallness" of politics in Chicago. Hopefully...there will be an outcome from Michigan and Florida, whether it matters or not is altogether a different matter. But...at least give us the opportunity to vote again in the future (one on one, Clinton v. Obama), or to have our previously cast votes count. Too bad Senator Obama's campaign keeps putting up every last roadblock to having this happen though. I guess his campaign really is "JUST Politics as usual." Barack is beating Hillary in every category; states won, popular vote and pledged delegates. Barack continues to run an excellent high road campaign, while Hillary busies herself slinging mud and lies from the gutter. Yes, the Clintons are being... the Clintons. With popular Pennsylvania Senator Casey's endorsement, the millions of newly registered young Pennsylvaia voters and Hillary's Bosnia fiasco, I predict her double digit lead will wind up as no more than a two or three point win at best... at best! the Vets are ticked at Hillary. Her Pennsylvania "win" will be a final shattering blow to her candidacy. North Carolina and Indiana will then tack on the final "GOODBYE HILLARY" message to Untruthful Hillary, the Queen of Fabrication. The racist agitation didn't work, Shawn Hannity's endless Wright loop didn't work, the false Muslim label didn't stick, the bogus Pledge scam against the guy (barack) who frequently LEADS the Pledge in the Senate didn't stick, the Rezko scandal wasn't enough... so how now, you Hillaryite cows? What new set of lies and fabrications will the Hillary Hucksters and McCains Geritrollers adopt? They better keep their heads low and run for Fox News, there's snipers out there firing truth bullets and Hillary is mortally wounded. Corpsman! Corpsman!
