Obama is already up on McCain 49-44 in today's USA Today/Gallup poll. 49-44! With no fruitbats on his side! You will come around........ Oh no, Buzzy baby, when there is an actual Dem nominee, and yes, it looks as if it will BO, then the polls will be a valid reflection of preference, until then, some are still in Hillary's column. And my gut tells me, very few of us will be 'coming around' to BO's camp. Also: still suspect that some people say they would vote for BO but in truth, would not. Kinda fun, though...The Dark Side vs. The Evil Empire!

That's a heck of a theory, considering Obama wasn't even running for President in 2006.

That would solve most of the world's problems in one fell stroke. Anyways, I'm sure glad Clinton is less and less likely to make it. I'd also keep her well away from the vice-Presidential position. A sure fire back stabber and lead weight around Obamas collar.

jujubee editor wrote: You're wrong Buzzy, Go look at her record...she has the bipartisan record. Plus Obama got tagged as the MOST LIBERAL SENATOR based on his voting record. He lied to all of you to make himself appear more moderate because he wanted to appeal to the working class...but failed miserably. They are not easily fooled as the naive students. It is the Iraq War vote that is attractive to the Conservatives who have gone on record as potentially supporting her Independent run. They also trust her on her tax framework. They are willing to tolerate a return to Bill's tax rates. They detest Marxist Obama and don't trust McCain. Buzzy...Buzzy...Buzzy...what am I gonna do with you...you little knucklehead. I few weeks back I posted articles that contrasted and compared the three health care plans. Between the Dems there is a major difference and one that the Repubs dislike. Obama's plan heralded a new bureacracy that Repubs cannot stomach. It's in the healthcare thread from last month...perhaps you should go look for it and read it. Now Buzzy have you known me to lie? I cite and provide details and I don't mindlessly post for candidates. I don't have an agenda...cuz there's nothing in it for me. <quoted text> The wingnuts called John Kerry and John Edwards the most "liberal" senators too. Its their stock call on everyone they run against. "Marxist"? You are losing it. Watching too much Fox News these days? I guess Warren Buffett and former Fed chairman Paul Volcker and THOUSANDS of business leaders are "Marxist" too! Or do you mean they like Groucho and the other Marx Brothers comedy? Oh -yeah. That must be it. btw - you ARE more informed than the other clowns on here. Hillary lost - its just too bad. Look at it this way - any one of the three will be WAY better than Bush.

How unfortunate that Democrats would nominate a racist for President. Then again, how sad that the Pubs would nominate an fascist idiot.

JFK Blows The Whistle on Secret Societies!(abridged) http://www.youtube.com/watch... The President and the Press: Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association http://www.jfklibrary.org/Historical+Resource... 003POF03NewspaperPublishers042 71961.htm President John F. Kennedy Waldorf-Astoria Hotel New York City, April 27, 1961 The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. (To be continued)

Business-as-usual Hillary for VP , a MsSame, picking her will not ensure victory especially based on Barak's rhetoric touting he being that agent of change.
A well regarded McCain VP selection (not the current crop) that will map well against an unbelieveably laughable and contradictory pair of opponents in the general election should garner the Repubs another round uber alles.
In spite of my hoping and contributing for an agent of change - I'm now expected to keep hope alive for CHANGE with such a mutt and jeff combo.
If this is where we are at - I'll no longer waste my time.
Have a nice time satisfying our masters - thus ensuring our bleeding continue for their protection.
NO CHANGE - Business as usual - MXSAMES

1. JFK Blows The Whistle on Secret Societies!(abridged) 2. The President and the Press: Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association No President should fear public scrutiny of his program. For from that scrutiny comes understanding; and from that understanding comes support or opposition. And both are necessary. I am not asking your newspapers to support an Administration, but I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people. For I have complete confidence in the response and dedication of our citizens whenever they are fully informed. I not only could not stifle controversy among your readers--I welcome it. This Administration intends to be candid about its errors; for as a wise man once said: "An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." We intend to accept full responsibility for our errors; and we expect you to point them out when we miss them. Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed--and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment-- the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution--not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply "give the public what it wants"--but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion. This means greater coverage and analysis of international news--for it is no longer far away and foreign but close at hand and local. It means greater attention to improved understanding of the news as well as improved transmission. And it means, finally, that government at all levels, must meet its obligation to provide you with the fullest possible information outside the narrowest limits of national security-- And so it is to the printing press--to the recorder of man's deeds, the keeper of his conscience, the courier of his news--that we look for strength and assistance, confident that with your help man will be what he was born to be: free and independent. (End of above post, 2 of 2)
