Bennett's become enamored of political power. His call to oppose the parks plan in order to punish the supervisors not obeying him regarding the oyster farm is self-centered and wrong. These are separate issues. Politics corrupt.

I agree completely with Larry, this is pure politics and makes me not trust the Sierra Club even more.

Sierra Club are a bunch of "Radicals" with nothing better to do then file lawsuits. They are one of the reasons we can't get Nuclear Energy. Bunch of fools!

Not sure what you are talking about Chris we are getting nuclear energy now. Diablo Canyon is on the grid and providing energy.

Assuming that you are talking about getting more power plants that would take years if not decades. You might be surprised that a lot of the environmentalists, "radicals and fools" as you have labeled them, are coming back to the idea of nuclear power as a preferable energy source.

Don't hold your breath Mark. We need to get away from Coal and use cleaner energy like Nuclear. We are so far behind other countries..Why? Because of Special Interest Groups like the Sierra Club. They have "no" real interest to build more plants. They will keep the public chasing their tails. Just go ask the residents of Bahia.

Don't get me wrong I am no fan of the SC. The more they spend their time on this type of distraction the better. It keeps them from trying to close the National Forrests from recreational users.

The Sierra Club has gone nuts. Let them oppose the tax and demonstrate their insanity. At what point do threats like this become illegal extortion?
