What an ego-driven tool. He is like Ross Perot without the looks and personality. The only thing he lacks is mental stability, just like his kool-aide drinking supporters.

Ralph, give it up, it's too late for you to get matching campaign funds.

I don't think you guys get it. Ralph has no real intention of winning, but saying so would reduce the money he would take in. Most of his supporters are not planning on voting for him. The idea is to force issues like voter reform,
corperate welfare and the environment on candidates who would rather not talk openly about them. During a time when Hillary supporters are claiming that they will vote for a republican if she does not win the nomination, we need someone to run to show us just how foolish our ONE party system is. Ideas are good. Choice is good. |

My typical day involves bike riding, playing chess and soccer, and drinking beer. If Ralph Nader wants my vote, he needs to answer these questions:
(1) Should bicycle riders be required to wear seat belts? (2) Is the black vs. white theme of chess just another example of racial polarization? (3) What do any of the twits who run the government know about soccer, given the emphasis on football and basketball as selectors for our uber-mensch elitist class? (4) Will efforts to limit CO2 limit the amount of beer I can drink, given that CO2 is released each time I pop upen a brewski? |

It wasn't much of a choice to just have 3 open-borders candidates.
Oh joy!! Now we have 4! |

I'm going to vote for Nader. For the third consecutive time. Yes, its a protest vote, but to cry 'a vote for Nader is a vote for McCain/Bush' is pure ignorance, sprouted, I believe, by the democratic party... and I say this as someone who usually leans to the left.
I voted for Ralph because I believe in his actions and dignity. While we don't completely agree on all issues/values they're mostly in-line. With the mainstream candidates of either major party I am extremely distrustful and can see danger in voting any of them into office. |

STOP BLOWING IT FOR US! I am starting to think Nader is getting paid tons of money to blow the elections.
Nader, if you want to actually make a difference, take those Green values and run under one of the two dominating parties. |

Fast and loose with facts isn't confined to the Rebulican party. Gonzales, while technically correct, is trying to mislead folks by suggesting Clinton's plurality and Wilson's plurality were anything like W's 2nd place finish. In 92, Clinton won more votes than the other two candidates (Pres. George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot). In 1912 Woodrow Wilson enjoyed another 3 way race when he beat Pres. William H Taft and former Pres. Teddy Roosevelt. W didn't receive a plurality. He recevied fewer votes that Al Gore. Bush won in the electoral college.
Wilson, Clinton and W don't belong in the same catagory. A poor president is a poor president regardless how many votes he received. In 2004, W received the most votes in history. In 1972 Nixon won by a landslide. Better than plurality- Less than good. |

You guys are all spot on. Nadar has some soul searching to do. Remember his "Al Gore and GW Bush are the same" comment? How does that hold up to the test of time? Guess what Ralph, your ego blinded you. You've put in a lifetime of consumer advocacy and for that you should be commended, but your inability to bow out of the 2000 race is shameful and has had an adverse effect on the present state of our country and democracy.
