Next we will have the World court or United Nations getting involved in the 'Sanctuary city' murders of Jamiel Shaw and the Bologna family members in LA and San Francisco.

This IS about more than 1 Mexican national. It is about someone who was illegally on Texas soil,(though he'd lived there almost his whole life) doing something illegal there. I hope Mr. Medellin made his peace with God, but where is the justice for the families should the Mexican consulate intervene? The proceedings were examined and no miscarriage of justice based on nationality found. This young man was not a casual traveller, unaware of the laws. When something as brutal as what happened to these you girls happens, does it really matter where someone was born 18 years before? I bet their families wish he'd never been born anywhere.

Lethal injection was far too kind. If anything, illegal immigrants should get LESS rights than those that are legal citizens or immigrants. I agree with Irritated. Ya know what else bugs me is all the Mexican flags all over the place in this country. We have a lot of immigrants from other countries (& most of them legally) & they don't flaunt flags from their countries. It seems they appreciate being here & love this country.

It just drives me crazy when convicts and their family say that the death penalty is inhumane. Were they humane when they raped, murdered and did the things they did? I hope he made his peace with God but he left behind people still hurting from what he did. When we know for sure that someone is guilty of such horrible things they deserve to die also. If it had happened to my daughter I would want to pull the switch.
