I wasn't engaging in pissing contest over which nation has the most insolvencies per thousand, and yes as a citizen of a country with UHC, I WOULD be especially angry if my insolvency was due to a medical condition. |

Call me naive if u wish, but thousands of Canadians fought in Vietnam even without the sanction/involvement of your govt...y? Vietnam may have been America's war but Canada was heavily involved — for and against. Canada harboured American draft dodgers and helped supervise ceasefires. But at the same time, about 30,000 Canadians volunteered to fight in southeast Asia. And there was Canada's involvement in secret missions, weapons testing and arms production. What I knew of Palin at the time of the announcement was that she is bright, attractive, energetic and fearless. We still don't know a great deal, but I would question the judgment of a woman who has four beautiful kids and still at the age of 43 would even contemplate having another. Its not at all uncommon for a pregnancy at her age, often results in a child with Down's Syndrome, quite the opposite. Hell, even having 5 kids these days is questionable. Looks like Mac is shooting craps again, and it remains to be seen if it will come up 7's or snake eyes. |

I bet you don't believe that an American president's brain was blown to red mist on November 22, 1963, on a cool, sunny day in Dallas, Texas. I have the Zapruder film, and I can prove that indeed a tiny piece of metal changed the course of history on that sunny day in Dallas. Of course, it will never happen again.
