The Founding Fathers Myth:
Present-day conservatives and other assorted right-wingnuz fanatics insist that we (and especially judges) revere the Founding Fathers, sublimating our twenty-first century experience to their own. I have nothing against the Founding Fathers. They weren't so bad, but certainly not so good. They certainly were NOT representative of the population of the country, then or now. If they represented anyone, it was less than 2% of the population. The Founding Fathers were definitely in the one percent. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton or James Madison, Robert Morris was the “Financier of the American Revolution.” Nearly all were well educated for their time, they all had prosperous enterprises while attending to the people’s business. many of the Founding Fathers lobbied against the Bill of Rights. Most of the Founding Fathers disapproved of giving ordinary citizens the right to own land or such liberties as freedom of religion, freedom from unreasonable search and torture, the right of free speech and so forth. In fact, when John Adams was president (1797-1801), he took away freedom of speech. The Bill of Rights is reality the people's voice against the Founding Fathers; liberty against conformity.
Represented 2% huh? So in other words...1% more than the current lot?

1. Allah will provide justice in the hereafter to Israel, CIA and all the bigwigs that are beyond the arm of justice and truth on the earth today.
But on the earth, every one is undergoing a test of their lives and record of their acts and deeds is being complied.
2. There might not be one side or party which is "Always" on right. The stands might change from issue to issue.
So instead of branding some party as right and another as wrong, it is best to analyze them on issue by issue.
Like Saddam was wrong in attacking Kuwait in 1990,….. but the same Saddam was a victim when USA decided to attack Iraq in 2003 on false charge of having WMD and Nuclear capabilities.
3. USSR and China Veto on Syria:
Why should you worry about that? It is good news for you people!!
It means more Muslims would be killed in |Syria and that is what Jews and you people want.
What was your stand on so many Veto which USA used against stopping violence in Lebanon and Palestine and other Muslim countries?
This Veto business is a game, they arrange it between themselves so that Muslims be the loosing party one way or the other.
I have least faith that US or NATO are in sympathy with Muslims in |Syria and want to help them. If they get UN nod, they would pound Syria and its cities the way they did in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan…. And make thousands of civilian casualties…
And all the time they will claim innocently "That we only intended to attack Basshar and his forces, how could we know that they are mixed up amongst innocent Muslims"
My advice and prayer to you people is to please leave Muslims to their fate and do not try to save them or help them in any way.
1. So then, Allah justifies it be done back to them, yes or no?

2. I can't remember, didn't Sadam pretend he still had WMD before the decision to take him out was ordered?

3. Must have missed your answer here...are you for or against the slaughter in Syria? It is nice that you condemn your fellow muslim victims in Syria to their "fate"...while preaching to the world to stay out of it...what verse is that in the Qu'ran?

With an unprecedented sum of wealth, tens of trillions of dollars, held within the top one-tenth of one percent of the US population, we now have the most severe inequality of wealth in human history. Not even the robber barons of the Gilded Age or the ruling class of a Europe, long gone, were as greedy as the modern-day economic elite.

Hey, let's go with Rick Santorum he wants you to have a very special Sex Life!

Quote:
“One of the things I will talk about that no president has talked about before is I think the dangers of contraception in this country, the whole sexual libertine idea... It's not okay because it's a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. They're supposed to be within marriage, for purposes that are, yes, conjugal - but also procreative.”

It is the TRUTH about 9/11 which you are so afraid to know.

Whenever I speajk about the truth, it is interpreted as ANATHEMA.

I asked for people to make a scale model of 9/11 and demonstrate its falling to ground with a single jet strike. Is it not a way to know the truth?

But no one supported this idea, why? They are afraid to know the truth.

They can never demonstrate the fall, unless they do something with the columns and that is why no one tried it, no Hollywood movie maker tried it.

No film was made duplicating 9/11. why? Because they are afraid that truth might come out.

And you are saying that you want to know the truth..strange, really strange.

War Is A Racket (Contd.)

CHAPTER FOUR

HOW TO SMASH THIS RACKET!

WELL, it's a racket, all right.

A few profit – and the many pay. But there is a way to stop it. You can't end it by disarmament conferences. You can't eliminate it by peace parleys at Geneva. Well-meaning but impractical groups can't wipe it out by resolutions. It can be smashed effectively only by taking the profit out of war.

The only way to smash this racket is to conscript capital and industry and labor before the nations manhood can be conscripted. One month before the Government can conscript the young men of the nation – it must conscript capital and industry and labor.

Let the officers and the directors and the high-powered executives of our armament factories and our munitions makers and our shipbuilders and our airplane builders and the manufacturers of all the other things that provide profit in war time as well as the bankers and the speculators, be conscripted – to get $30 a month, the same wage as the lads in the trenches get.

Let the workers in these plants get the same wages – all the workers, all presidents, all executives, all directors, all managers, all bankers –

yes, and all generals and all admirals and all officers and all politicians and all government office holders – everyone in the nation be restricted to a total monthly income not to exceed that paid to the soldier in the trenches!

Let all these kings and tycoons and masters of business and all those workers in industry and all our senators and governors and majors pay half of their monthly $30 wage to their families and pay war risk insurance and buy Liberty Bonds.

Why shouldn't they?

They aren't running any risk of being killed or of having their bodies mangled or their minds shattered. They aren't sleeping in muddy trenches. They aren't hungry.

The soldiers are!

Give capital and industry and labor thirty days to think it over and you will find, by that time, there will be no war. That will smash the war racket – that and nothing else.

Maybe I am a little too optimistic. Capital still has some say. So capital won't permit the taking of the profit out of war until the people – those who do the suffering and still pay the price – make up their minds that those they elect to office shall do their bidding, and not that of the profiteers.

Another step necessary in this fight to smash the war racket is the limited plebiscite to determine whether a war should be declared. A plebiscite not of all the voters but merely of those who would be called upon to do the fighting and dying.

There wouldn't be very much sense in having a 76-year-old president of a munitions factory or the flat-footed head of an international banking firm or the cross-eyed manager of a uniform manufacturing plant – all of whom see visions of tremendous profits in the event of war – voting on whether the nation should go to war or not.

They never would be called upon to shoulder arms – to sleep in a trench and to be shot. Only those who would be called upon to risk their lives for their country should have the privilege of voting to determine whether the nation should go to war.

2. What Saddam said is immaterial, it was accusation buy USA that he had WMD, while the UN investigators said that they did not find any.

In the end it was USA which was found to be a liar and we have not seen any apology coming from them so far.

When they failed to find any WMD, they changed their stance and said that they went there to bring democracy there…another white lie!!

3. I am not one to become a party in internal strife between two Muslim groups.

What I am amused is the hypocritical attitude of you people…when you kill thousands of Muslims in Iraq, AFGHNAISTAN, LIBYA, AND ELSEWHERE IT IS NO MATTER.

WHEN YOU SEE MUSLIMS BEING KILLED IN HUNDREDS IN KASHMIR, PALESTINE AND PHILIPINE, AND ELSEWHERE, IT IS OK FOR YOU PEOPLE.

WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS LOVE FOR MUSLIMS OF SYRIA? IS IT HUMAN LOVE OR THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE BEHIND THAT SHOW OF LOVE?

DOD Announces Charges Sworn Against Detainee Majid Shoukat Khan

The Defense Department announced today that military commission charges have been sworn against Majid Shoukat Khan, a Pakistani national who lived in the United States from 1996 to early 2002 before returning to Pakistan.

The charges allege that Khan joined with members of al Qaeda in Pakistan to plan and prepare attacks against diverse targets in the United States, Indonesia, and elsewhere after Sept. 11, 2001. Specifically, they allege that Khan:

Used a fraudulently obtained travel document to travel from his residence in Baltimore, Md., to Karachi, Pakistan, in January of 2002;

Conspired with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed regarding a plot to blow-up underground gasoline storage tanks at gas stations in the United States and other domestic plots;

At Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s direction, recorded a “martyr video,”(So already he is a Dead Man- MUQ) donned an explosive vest, and sat in a mosque waiting for Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to arrive so that Khan could assassinate him, an attempt that was foiled when Musharraf never arrived; (Gee will they call Musharraf as a Witness during Trial?!!– MUQ)

Traveled in March of 2002 from Karachi to Baltimore, where he performed tasks for al Qaeda and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, including purchasing a laptop computer for al Qaeda ( a really Big Crime to purchase a Lap Top – MUQ) and contacting a military recruiter to obtain materials regarding the United States military, which he intended to give to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed;

Upon returning to Pakistan in August 2002, worked directly for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Ali Abdul al-Aziz Ali, and other al Qaeda associates, all of whom were evading capture by United States and Pakistani authorities;

At the direction of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Ali Abdul al-Aziz Ali, traveled with his wife in December of 2002 from Pakistan to Bangkok, Thailand, where he evaded notice by posing as a tourist;

While in Bangkok, delivered $50,000 in al Qaeda funds to a southeast Asia-based al Qaeda affiliate, which in turn delivered the money to the allied terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah, which used the funding to detonate a bomb in August of 2003 at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, killing eleven people, wounding at least eighty-one others, and severely damaging the hotel.

Based on these allegations and others outlined in the charge sheet, Khan is charged with conspiracy, murder and attempted murder in violation of the law of war, providing material support for terrorism, and spying.

In accordance with the Military Commissions Act of 2009, Chief Prosecutor Mark Martins has forwarded the sworn charges to Convening Authority Bruce MacDonald with a recommendation that the charges be referred to military commission for trial.

By separate action, Martins today also detailed Courtney Sullivan of the Justice Department as trial counsel in the case and Army Lt. Col. Michael Hosang and Navy Lt. Nathaniel Gross as assistant trial counsel. Martins has not recommended that any of the charges be referred to a military commission empowered to adjudge the death penalty, and therefore the maximum allowable penalty for the charged offenses is life imprisonment.

The convening authority will make an independent determination as to whether to refer some, all, or none of the charges to trial by military commission. If the convening authority decides to refer the case to trial, he will designate the commission panel members who function as jurors. The chief trial judge of the Military Commissions Trial Judiciary would also detail a military judge to the case.

The charges are only allegations that the accused has committed offenses under the Military Commissions Act, and the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.(While he has enjoyed all the “facilities” given to an “innocent” person for past 10 years at GITMO!! These people even do not wink while telling White Lies!! MUQ)

War Is A Racket (Contd.)

CHAPTER FOUR - HOW TO SMASH THIS RACKET!

There is ample precedent for restricting the voting to those affected. Many of our states have restrictions on those permitted to vote. In most, it is necessary to be able to read and write before you may vote. In some, you must own property. It would be a simple matter each year for the men coming of military age to register in their communities as they did in the draft during the World War and be examined physically.

Those who could pass and who would therefore be called upon to bear arms in the event of war would be eligible to vote in a limited plebiscite. They should be the ones to have the power to decide – and not a Congress few of whose members are within the age limit and fewer still of whom are in physical condition to bear arms. Only those who must suffer should have the right to vote.

A third step in this business of smashing the war racket is to make certain that our military forces are truly forces for defense only.

At each session of Congress the question of further naval appropriations comes up. The swivel-chair admirals of Washington (and there are always a lot of them) are very adroit lobbyists. And they are smart. They don't shout that "We need a lot of battleships to war on this nation or that nation." Oh no.

First of all, they let it be known that America is menaced by a great naval power. Almost any day, these admirals will tell you, the great fleet of this supposed enemy will strike suddenly and annihilate 125,000,000 people. Just like that. Then they begin to cry for a larger navy. For what? To fight the enemy? Oh my, no. Oh, no. For defense purposes only.

Then, incidentally, they announce maneuvers in the Pacific. For defense. Uh, huh.

The Pacific is a great big ocean. We have a tremendous coastline on the Pacific. Will the maneuvers be off the coast, two or three hundred miles? Oh, no. The maneuvers will be two thousand, yes, perhaps even thirty-five hundred miles, off the coast.

The Japanese, a proud people, of course will be pleased beyond expression to see the united States fleet so close to Nippon's shores. Even as pleased as would be the residents of California were they to dimly discern through the morning mist, the Japanese fleet playing at war games off Los Angeles.

The ships of our navy, it can be seen, should be specifically limited, by law, to within 200 miles of our coastline. Had that been the law in 1898 the Maine would never have gone to Havana Harbor. She never would have been blown up. There would have been no war with Spain with its attendant loss of life.

Two hundred miles is ample, in the opinion of experts, for defense purposes. Our nation cannot start an offensive war if its ships can't go further than 200 miles from the coastline. Planes might be permitted to go as far as 500 miles from the coast for purposes of reconnaissance. And the army should never leave the territorial limits of our nation.

To summarize: Three steps must be taken to smash the war racket.

We must take the profit out of war.

We must permit the youth of the land who would bear arms to decide whether or not there should be war.

We must limit our military forces to home defense purposes.

It appears that the election year might be just about over for the once-certain Republican presidential nominee, Mitt Romney. Most Republicans didn't much like Mitt anyway, so it will be a case of good riddance when he is gone.

In his place, apparently, will be Rick Santorum. Now Santorum is quite a conservative. I can't say if he is for slavery, but he is certainly in favor of putting women back where they were in the 1930s. Santorum advocates laws against birth control, including abortion. He is apparently against women participating in public life, instead recommending that women devote their entire lives to private life, behind doors, tending to husbands and family.

Santorum kind of makes one think of the Taliban in Afghanistan, which also promotes a very austere public life for women, to the extent they should never be seen in public. Santorum apparently is not against women driving vehicles or shopping in mixed-gender malls or stores, so in this respect he is progressive, at least compared with the Taliban or the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia.

As a liberal, I am very pleased with the ascendance of Rick Santorum. I hate Republican lies and subterfuge. I want Republican conservative ideology to be accurately and proudly described and promoted by Republicans. I particularly want Republican conservative views on women to be very accurately described and promoted by Republicans.

It is essential that Republicans be proud of their position that women are subhuman, compared to men. Surely they have their Bible verse that "man stands to the right of Jesus, and woman stands to the right of man." There is more Bible verse to the effect that women should not speak publicly, and thus women should not be leaders of men.

Santorum is a breath of fresh air! He is not afraid or ashamed of his position on women's freedom or women's health issues.

I long for the day when Republicans will always tell the truth, always state their disapproval of women's rights, always state their unwavering support for the economic elites, always state their hatred and contempt for minorities, the weak, the sick, the disabled, the lame, the poor, the aged, and the foreign.

Some day, only a few percent of the American public will vote Republican. Only the rich, white, male, Christian, healthy, young, able-bodied citizens will vote Republican, and the women and everyone else will vote Democrat, including of course the blacks and Hispanics.

I cannot abide lying Republicans like Mitt Romney. It appears soon Romney and his lies will be gone, and the truth of Rick Santorum and his support of women's subjugation and loss of control of their reproductive fuction will be on full display.

I think we all fully appreciate an honest Republican who is proud of his contempt for women's rights. It will be surprising how many women will vote for him in November, in spite of his anti-women agenda.
