The US was founded as and has always been a republic. The constitution out lines the rules for presidential elections, setting up the electoral collage. That's who elects the president.

THIS IS ABOUT A FAMILY & THEIR LOSS...... I SUGGEST PEOPLE LEAVE NICE SUPPORTING COMMENTS OR DONT "COMMENT" AT ALL...... I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET LUIS BUT KNOW MONICA VERY WELL, I'M PRAYING FOR HER & HER FAMILY. LUIS WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A HERO WHO WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR ALL OF US.

It's actualty in Article II, Section 1. Amendment XII is probabaly what you are thinking of, but the electoral collage was set up before Amendment XII.

Thanks, I was actually mistaken.

I personally know this Woman....She is the most blessed beautiful strong Female alive....She has so many good ways about herself...She is loving caring, and a great mother....This is now all a living nightmare to her...She had lost her son a while ago, now her husband...An she even admit herself she can not break down! She has to be the one to hold it together! And if we could all jus do the same a realize that today is here, but tomorrow may not be! We all have to stand up for one another if we want to continue to live the most precious moments in our lives.....We all have to stand up for our country...Should not 1 Man be able to control our feelings....We all know right from wrong...An this here is most definately WRONG! that was my uncle that died luis i felt sad when i herd when he died i just new him 2 or 3 months

This dead grunt had it coming.
Killing folks who never did you any wrong for the money was a despicable way to spend his life.
Hopefully, his wife will now find a decent man to take care of her. The compensation should help in that regard.
