May he rest in peace so young and full of life...Its a shame that these men and women think that they can join the army and they are gonna have a better life..thats the way the army pulls them in...

BRING THEM HOME...BRING THEM HOME....BRING THEM HOME. Bring them home alive, not in a casket. A young life taken, a child without a father damn....how sad is this.

My heart and prayers go out to this young family, may they find comfort in family and friends. Knowing that all of us salute and mourn the brave hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country, and that his unborn child grows up knowing Daddy was a hero. God bless Army Spc. Luis Rodriguez Contrera and his family.

A hero, A fatherless baby, A widow, A family without a father/mother, those are the most common words that will ring in our ears long after the senseless war is over, Only pain and suffering will be felt. Monica we Love You and we feel your loss..... Your Husband was a Great Man and everyone is going to make sure your baby knows what a great sacrifice he did for his country. HERO H HUSBAND FULL OF LOVE THAT E EVERYONE WILL ALWAYS R REMEMBER FOR EVER O OVER THE YEARS TO COME.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. Another young life taken all too soon but God had his plan for this young man and one that we should not question...He has His reasons.
To Spc. Luis Rodrigues-Contrera: Thank you for your bravery and service to our Country. You are now one of God's angels. Rest in Peace.

For too many of our youth the military is the only good option. We're willing to bribe them into the military, but not pay a decent minimum wage for good hard work at jobs in the civilian world. They're left with no other choice. This was a good, brave man doing his best for his country. Men like him deserve better from us.

He is entitled to his opinion, the Supreme Court put Bush in the first time, he didn't have the popular vote. Just remember that. Second time around, just brain dead people. As for the soldier who lost his life, may God bless the family.

My sympathies to the family of this American hero. Take comfort from the fact that his son will grow up with only pride for his father and will strive to be a great man and hero, just like his papi. God bless.

RIP Army Spc. Rodriguez-Contrera. Now, I wish our gov't would speed things up to get the heck out of there. I'm sick of reading these depressing articles of young men and women put on the line for what?

A brave man dies serving his country and we mourn his death. We are also thankful that there are men and women like him willing to risk their all to protect us. May the family and friends accept my deepest sympathy and prayers.
