"Jose" McCain the immigrant anti-christ will provide a bilingual version of the bill in his first 90 days

The estimate for the rework is less that 80k. That is a barging for government work. Estimated taxpayer savings for shrinking smaller denominations is approximately 115 million dollars. You do the math, either way it looks like a deal that also helps out.

We are in the 21st Century, there is another unilateral change that could save the government the cost of retooling our money. Just get rid of paper money!

Maybe the seeing-eye dogs need better training. |

It's the conservatives who are always bringing up homosexuality. They seem very fixated on it - constantly claiming liberals want everyone to be gay. I'll give you the Bush references thouugh. He has f*cked up everything so badly, it's hard to get away from thinking about him. |

Where'd you get the figure of $100 Million to add a few dots to new bills? We're talking about a minor adjustment in the designs they're already working on for the next batch of new bills that they plan to start printing in a decade or so. That was the point of my post. Since the gov't is going to redesign the bills every 8 to 10 years anyway, was it really such an "undue burden" on them to just add a few bumps in the new designs? We're not talking about re-printing every single bill in circulation either. You simply introduce the new bills and they'll replace the older ones. No different than what we're already doing with new colored bills replacing older monochrome bills. People are complaining about how much it'll cost to add a few bumps to something we're ALREADY paying to change, when the real waste of money was by the gov't fighting this in court. |

Another politically correct problem created by the left. How did the blind uses money before some idiot thought they were being discriminated against? Wake up America just another excuse to have our government control more of our lives

We've been dowm this road before with cars that are too quiet for them to hear them.
Solutions? Limit their movement to blind alleys and give them talking tin cups. |

The day this country will get rid of paper money will be the end of free enterprise and capitalism, no paper money is the ultimate control by big brother...I cash my paycheck and spend my cash without having to think that big brother knows how I spend my money, and where and at what time... Call me paranoid, I call it freedom. |

The answer... without costing tens of millions to redesign the paper money.
http://www.maxiaids.com/store/prodView.asp... All it takes is someone you trust who can see to initially mark the bills using this. The drawback is when someone is getting change. But debit cards remove that hang-up. |
|
|
When speaking of 'The drawback' I forgot to state that the someone getting change was blind and no one they trusted was around.

Who gives a sh*t about drive-up ATMs! Blind people shouldn't be driving. And if they are, they don't need braile on their money. And neither do the rest of us. |

Actually, I have. The ones around here are part of tribes that own casinos. Look into it. |
