The same can be said for speeding tickets. I have good eyesight, and I still have trouble reading those things.

If the United States had a paper currency design like the Euro, the smaller the bills denomination, the smaller the size. This would make it easy for vision-impaired individuals to tell the denomination, not to mention a clerk at a store not mistaking one bill for another.

The euro also has different colors for the different denominations.

That really makes no sense. Bad analogy.

I don't see how anyone can argue against helping make life a bit easier for those who are blind.

Me thinks some of you just like complaining about any change. Wouldn't a "Christian Nation" want to help look after thier brother?

Oh I know, that depends on the financial burden. lol.

I see it as the change is the problem. Anyone can make a dollar braille to spend, but who is to say the change is accurate.

OK, what about a pen scanner "reader" to verify and sound denomination by "beep"

But at what cost?

Blind people have managed to use paper money for hundreds of years, longer even.

Are today's blind people less capable?

Oh. My. God.

So now we have to spend millions and change our entire currency system to suit the convenience of a small minority?

Wonderful.
