We had victory in Iraq a long time ago, now we are just spending our money to rebuild a country that has boycotted a lot of our goods and that has a surplus. So why are we still there.

Does anybody really believe generals on what must be done to achieve peace? What is going on in Iraq and in Afghanistan is the only thing they got going for them. Nuclear warfare made Generals and Admirals obsolete because they can't assemble an army or a flotilla. A nuclear missile would wipe out any major assembley of forces.
Let's put civilians back in charge.
Let's ask Condoleezza Rice what she sees as the future in Iraq and debate that.
