Squze, from the article you linked: "Iraq acquired the MiG-25s, along with about 200 other aircraft, from the U.S.S.R. in 1980. The fighters were still in use as recently as early 2003, but, for reasons still unknown, Saddam Hussein decided to conceal his air force instead of deploying it against U.S.-led coalition forces when they invaded Iraq in March 2003. Reportedly, some of the buried aircraft were damaged beyond repair."

As I opined earlier, aircraft buried in sand are of no threat to anyone. But more to the point, Saddam Hussein's possession of those aircraft was IN NO WAY a violation of any treaty, or UN or other resolution. They were jet aircraft used by various Air Forces around the globe. And burying them certainly didn't improve their airworthiness. And in order to carry nukes, Hussein would have had to HAVE nukes. He didn't.

I assume you have a car. I am placing you under arrest for having a vehicle which is capable of being used as a bomb. Get it?

Most criminals don't care if it is against the law (THEY ARE CRIMINALS; therefore they commit CRIMES) it is against the law to shoot someone with a gun, but if a criminal wants to kill someone, they will find a gun. they could go across the border. they could get it from the black market. they can find them everywhere.....why punish us law-abiding gun owners for the wrongs of a few soulless criminals? there are so many illegal guns in the hands of criminals.....go after them. whats wrong with a legal shotgun, rifle, or handgun? and for those of you who say outlaw handguns....what are they gonna do, saw off shotguns and kill more innocent bystanders? yes, there are problems in this country, but taking away guns is not going to solve anything.

See, I got a solution to this here problem: We just have to make it against the law to break the law. That'll fix things.

Some people just choose to be outlaws. I say, "Let 'em." If they want to be outlaws, they shall have no protection under the law. If someone should happen to kill them, no one will question it. Just make damned sure you identify your chosen outlaw target properly before you bust a cap in their buttocks.
