He's giving lip service, nothing more. Obama ran for Senate, but never served as a Senator, just used the office as a stepping stone to the nomination. He should be ashamed of himself.

He's gotten a huge turnout of democratic blacks that has propelled him to this point, but the general election is a completely different story. McCain is a far more qualified candidate.

Ironic that he uses the same tired "change" slogan that Bill Clinton used back in '92. Seems like many of Obama's supporters were in diapers back then...or have suffered some type of brain damage resulting in memory loss.

It'll be interesting to watch a black man with a Muslim name campaigning in traditional democratic strongholds like Century Village.

Hillary need to stay in until either Obama has the delegates (not super delegates) or until the last primary is held.

Obama is calling for the super delegates to decide the election now. The super delegates were never intended to decide the election before the voters have been heard.

To do otherwise further disenfranchises voters who haven't cast their ballots-and their ballots should count.

PS-If the actual votes in Florida and Michigan are counted, Hillary may hold the lead in the popular vote-but the final tally isn't in until June 3.

Why would Robert Wexler care, he has no interest in the people he represents. He's made that clear everytime someone contacts him and he sends back a automated response that has nothing to do with the question or comment made.

I voted for him last time, but next time he will not be getting my vote and many others he's been screwing over while in office.

I am a citizen.
I am a voter.
I am a Democrat.

Should my vote count?

Well yes and no. You see its a complex, convoluted, perplexing issue that involves many abstract concepts and legal issues. Then of course, Howard Dean's enormous ego MUST be taken into account. Yada yada yada. Perhaps the requirements can meet the litmus test if we are allowed to vote, but the votes need not be counted.

The right to vote is certain. The right to count that vote? Therein lies the rub.

Count Florida votes? Not as far as the DNC is concerned.

We're told our vote won't count... so we don't vote... My vote's one vote that Obama didn't get... and now let's count them?!?!

Face it... it's going to be unfair if you DO count the votes... This should have been fought BEFORE the votes were now it's too late to be fair...

We should have gotten off of our couches for 5 minutes and screamed our heads off when we heard they wouldn't count... We should have pressured our legislature to hold the primaries later (when they WOULD have counted)...

We had our chance to fix it... Now it's too late to cry about it... We got what we deserved...

the DNC made the decision not to count the votes. i'm sure many people didn't bother to vote b/c of that and the candidates didn't campaign b/c of that. i think it's very unfair to NOW decide to count the votes. Hillary should be ashamed, she was gung-ho with not campaigning and not relying on the votes before. Obama wasn't even on that ballot in Michigan....it's disgraceful. Hillary is like a spoiled child.

The only FAIR thing is to seat all delegates and let all votes count. If the Democrats really believe in equality and not disenfranchising anyone, then they should see that the date the primaries were done is not important, the results are.

It's really sad that our Representatives have allowed Florida voters to be disenfranchised for the last 8 years. It's wrong.

I wouldn't be shocked if we AGAIN have issues in November. 8 years, get the voting situation straightened already!

In 2000 the Democrats whined that the election was stolen

In 2004 the Democrats whined that there were improprieties in Ohio.

In 2008 the Democrats whine that their votes are being stolen by their own party.

Anyone see a pattern here?

yes they did because it was all true. Soon the Bush saga will be history and the nation will smarten up. Bushy has damaged Florida and we are now a laughing group of people here thanks to him. Never want to see another Bush in any office.

Should Obama get the nomination being a democrat I will vote for McCain. Hillary won the delegates here and in Michigan. He took his name off the ballet their, he doesn't salute our flag, he has muslin ties and I just bet they are eagerly waiting for him to be in the oval office. Change that was Bill Clintons motta and he stole it. He has 2 years of experience and I fear if he wins the election. Come back in a few years and prove yourself and I will gladly give you my vote. Till then I pray that he does not. Should he win it will be due to fear of discrimination. God only knows they will be out their in force trying to prove that hey Mr. Sharpton.

Mark my words right now. If Obama gets the nod, which it appears he will, he will lose in November because this country is NOT ready for a black president. The white supremacists will turn out in record numbers to vote for McCain because it would be their worst nightmare.

I personally think Obama isn't ready for the Presidency and he hasn't had an original idea throughout his entire campaign. Even his wonderful speech, that everyone loved but me, was nothing but a bunch of b.s. that had been said before, except for his comments about his grandmother who raised him.

He's just another politician, lying his way to an office that he isn't ready to have. We the people deserve everything we get.

Wexler wants to introduce Obama to Jews? OK. Preface that intro with Obama's friendship list of terrorists, crooks, radicals, racists, including Rev Wright. Let the Jewish folks see the shared Wright values Obama cherished for over 20 years, despite his now convenient political denials. That should go over really well. The more we find out about Obama, the less there is to like -- unless you are black, of course, and the black vote hovers at 91% Obama vote in NC & 91% for his last win before NC. Seems the dark faces just want another dark face, no matter how little he accomplished or whom he associates with or who he really is.

Support Fawn, you are not alone.

I'm an independent.

If Hillary gets the nomination I'll vote her otherwise I'll vote McCain.

Can't you see Obama would never win a National election?... democrats are just voting for the right to vote for an african-american; at the time of the general election, well... sit down and watch.

Hillary or Obama...CHANGE comes with either of them. We need change. We need to recover from the past eight years. Vote for McCain and we will have four more years of what we have now.

Now is the time for ALL votes to be counted. Please put race and religion on the sidelines and hope for what is best for all of us. We deserve the best and unfortunately we do not have that now. But we could!
