I guess it's just a little closer to the day where old Ted is going to have to stand tall in front of the big guy and try to explain why he left a young lady to drown in a sinking car.

The clock is ticking and my guess is the big guy isn't going to be pleased, and he isn't going to buy into all the bluster this guy is so famous for here on earth.......

Well Ted Kennedy now has an excuse for his dumb behavior, what is Bush's excuse?

Well, the CINOs are out in force again, I see.
Reveling in this man's medical problems is reprehensible and shows what a low, base character most of you possess.

If there is a god, I'd like to be on the sidelines laughing my a** off at the judgment most of you will receive for your conduct toward your fellow man.

Sometimes Karma waits around for a little while.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving individual. I'll bet there is someone anxiously waiting at the pearly gates for this drunken, cowardly, murderer. Godd thing is that when he gets sent downstairs he will have a lot of friends and family waiting for him. Wonder if we could talk Al Franken into going with ole' Teddy.

Some of you need to take a serious look in the mirror, get a grip, and realize there is a lot more to life than politics.

So much for "compassionate conservatism" I guess based on what I'm reading here. Thanks to the first four posts for proving what most people accuse Republicans of in elections, being heartless, selfish people who only care about themselves.

These threads continue to prove why we're losing the War on Terror. There just isn't enough brainpower left in America to win.

While Senator Kennedy is someone I didn't and don't always agree with, I do wish him the best in his fight against cancer, as I would anybody.

And let's not forget another of his great political moves of giving his endorsement to Barack Hussein Obama.

I am entertained reading the posts lets say. I think it is bad form to comment abouts someone in that postion. Even Teddy.

It is like temping fate, and fate may slap you hard for thinking that way...

With that said, those that will bash the posters, what if it was Bush? Would you be just as appauled? Or join the "fun"?

I bet it would be much worse.

Sad news for him and his family. As hard as it is for me to grasp, there are people who love the guy. I wish him the best possible outcome.

As for what Mary Jo would have to say to him.... If I were him, I’d be thinking more about what he will have to say when he is standing before God. Like ALL of us, he will have a lifetime to answer for.

I will pray for his healing... from this current health crisis, and for healing of the heart as well, before he has the ultimate meeting with his Creator.

I never agreed with Ted on one single solitary thing but I would not wish this on anyone. Good luck to him in his battle with cancer. Now, I wonder how the liberals would be posting if this article was about say Karl Rove or President Bush? We all know don't we? So no one had best play the shame on you card.

The sarcastic response would most likely be "Why couldn't it be Cheney" or something along those lines... The creativity of the responses is even lacking here as there's a lot better jokes they could go with if they are so inclined and put a little thought into it.

You are right, it would be much the same if it was Bush. But neither is right, especially when it comes to cancer. There's just nothing funny about it for anyone.

I know I am shouting at the hurricane, but I find the attacks on Kennedy pertaining to his illness to be revolting. Just as revolting, btw, as I found the attacks on Reagan when he contracted Alzheimers and when he passed away.

I despise the man, but my prayers are with him and his family and I pray he fully recovers.

Well, alleging a hypothetical isn't much of a counter-argument, and it's also hard to deny a hypothetical, but....

I can honestly say that I would never speak like that about ANYONE, no matter my opinions on their politics. And I immediately discount any further opinion from anyone who would stoop to such a level.

I will indeed play the "shame on you" card, seeing as how I'm not responsible for what some imaginary liberals would do in some imaginary situation.
