Congrats to Caribou Barbie. This couldn't happen to a more deserving, fundamentalist neo-conservative, aka, GOP VP
pick.http://en.wikipedia.org/w iki/Alaskan_Independence_Party

This link is another news item that should definitely be checked out and investigated. Palin has been so intent to link Obama to terrorist friends that she neglected to tell her party base that she is married to one.

Perhaps this seals the fate of future presidential candidates picking their VP, based on two brief meetings and a quickie vetting.

The pitbull is doing her darndest to incite racial riots or assassinations though, which could make her manipulation of the family soap opera and abuse of power in Alaska politics pale in comparison. Polls show 9% of the population thinks the country is "headed in the right direction," and as a McCain rally attendee shouted the other day, "we don't care about the economy." Obviously this 9%, mostly non-readers, die-hard Bush devotees, are firmly behind Palin/McCain, right or wrong.

"Defenders of Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, called the report's release, coming less than four weeks before Election Day, a politically motivated attempt to damage the ticket of Sen. John McCain and Palin. They said Palin's actions were fully justified."

Other choices would have been to wait until after the election or not at all. That my friends is a typical Republican tactic.

She's no pit bull....she's a rabid chihuahua.
I've been amazed by the McCain campaign spin (aided by the corporate media and Faux) Remember the operative word in the 263 page report is 'UNLAWFUL' When you hear the LIARS talking about the 'partisan' investigator, remember: "The report by investigator Steve Branchflower was made public late this afternoon by a bipartisan 12-0 vote of the Legislative Council, which authorized the investigation." the investigation was authorized by the same 12-0 8 Repugs/4Dems BEFORE Palin was chosen by Old Man McCain. Anchorage Daily News http://www.adn.com/monegan/story/552393.html has a much better article.

She has more problems:(from the Anchorage Daily News - Oct 10) State scrambles to gather private e-mails - "The state is bustling to try to comply with a court order issued today that requires Gov. Sarah Palin and everyone else in the governor's office to preserve all e-mails issued from private accounts that concern state business...."

PC, George, do you suppose that $Bill's requirement that members of his cabinet submit undated, signed resignation letters wasn't an abuse of power?

It appears like the old ‘Maverick’ is slipping off the old horse!
It's apparent McCain and the Republican Party have been cursed from the beginning; it’s falling apart at the seams. With 8 years of disasters, the down fall of financial institutions, a presidential candidate with two speeds slow and stop, unethical racial attacks against Barack Obama, an unrest among the ranks, choosing a VP at random that's accused of abusing her power, I can’t wait to see what else can go wrong! Yet Republicans are sticking together like maggots and still can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel!

That's a donkey of a different color and should be dealt with separately- by the way Bill R. is not running for a national office.

Well, since she wasn't running for national office when she abused her power, much like $Bill wasn't running for national office when he abused his power (is that really true? He was running for President at the time) all's well, what's the issue?

I suggest all you mush heads read the coverage from the Anchorage Daily News instead of the Obama Newsmedia. The whole story is there.

But I guess if she was friends with a perosn like Ayers, had a preacher likeWright, had backing from someone like Rezko and funded a group like ACORn everything would be ok. Oh, I forgot, need the big "D" and not the "R" in front of your name.

Hell yes, and I posted about it plenty, especially when $Bill **cked with the museums and other entities. He totally abused his power.

Maybe, maybe not, but most wouldn't do it so blatantly in-your-face as to get caught so easy. Or is it like Bush, the feeling of entitlement and they can do what they want without any consequences.(i.e., Fk the law!)

That's what I love about my sister, she doesn't lt "D"'s or "R"'s cloud her judgement.
