Indeed, it can be difficult. The anti-gay make it no easier, and you might do yourself the favor of not buying into their lies, deceit and double standards. I just left another thread where the murder of gays and lesbians was thinly advocated.

I say that that goes so far that statements like that must be spotlit, advertised and disseminated as widely as possible, so that people can see the ugliness and inhumanity that the anti-gay are perpetrating.

Their behavior is understandable and I find it restrained, given the circumstances.
They are lied to and about; they undergo constant attempts to make them feel worthless and less-than-human; your own attitude on the boards shows you -- easily and simply -- why they react as they do.
Given behavior toward them on these boards, and I'll say it again, they would have every reason to picket every funeral of every anti-gay individual wearing fire engine red, laughing and pointing, and spitting on the coffin. They are remarkably restrained.
They cannot tell the difference, and are under no obligation to tell the difference, between someone who appears to be attacking and someone who actually is.
