Chris, thank you for getting to the real issues. If people are consenting adults and wish to make a committment to each other-that's the only issue that should be addressed. Someones else's sexual preferences are NONE OF OUR BUSINESS! This debate only exists to stir-up the 'christocrats' and divert attention for the issues we should all be concerned with; war, poverty, education, healthcare, etc. Look-they do this because it works! We're reading and writing about it, aren't we? Oh and Chris-you forgot to remind "Bocephus" about that 'judge not" part of the Bible. Maybe he can't read?

Hello rev.Hill. I am also a servant of our Lord. I have been a minister for the past eight years and I have also been homosexual from birth. Now I'm sure this may strike you in a distastful way and perhaps not. If there is a point to be made then I will make it now. I remember the time in this country when a black man would hang from a tree for simply taking a romantic interest in a white woman. Somehow and in some way people found a way to justify that horrible behavior. The act of hanging someone for a romantic interest is more of an abomination than two women being in love. Would you agree? It always takes people time to realize one sin cannot outweigh another if all of our actions are sinful. It is more of a sin to stay rusty in our personal safety zones. I have no human right to say who and who is not going to be judged worthy enough to enter heaven and if I tell someone, anyone that they are not worthy of Gods kingdom, then I am just as proud and as stubborn as lucifer was and still is. I would rather lead and love than to pass judgment and condemnation. Peace to you.

I am sorry but you are wrong. You can't compare a homosexual relationship to drug users. Drugs are harmful. They harm kids, they contribute to the downfall of a neighborhood, and they can cause other crime. That is why drugs are illegal. Homosexuallity on the other hand doesn't hurt anyone. You can see two men walking down the street. Are they gay? Are they friends? Who knows? Only the two men know the status of their relationship. What homophobic people represent is a policing of society where any bonding between two people of the same sex is shunned upon and it'll be like big brother is watching. Is that really what you want? If two people love each other, they should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want about it without a bunch of dumb politicians telling them otherwise when it's not even their problem.
