Never fear to negotiate...hmmm. He didn't say, go to war whenever you feel like it. He didn't say ignore the UN, do what you want to do. At the time of this speech, Castro had been in power 1 year and we were in the middle of the Cold War. We had a lot of threats...yet, we didn't officially go to war until another Texan president deemed it so.Another debacle...it was called Viet Nam.
