Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin claimed her historic spot on the Republican ticket Wednesday night, uncorking a smiling, slashing attack on Barack Obama and vowing to help John McCain bring real change to Washington.

She and the rest of the Republicans (including the electorate) disgust me... Too many fat flabby-armed women with vaginitis and too many drop-out-of-high-school hooting and hollering U-S-A

Divisive and disgusting

Running away from their own party's record - whimps

The policy hole in the GOP convention is immeasurable - 2 nights of character references and slamming the opposition - disgusting

Come here little bulldog - Michael Vick needs a new contestant

Palin did a great job speaking. Nice delivery although the bullying will backfire on her for certain. Scrutinize the oposition with insults and it's sure to come back at you ten fold. You are fair game now. Gloves off. Good luck with your rising star and raising your special needs baby. Who will be doing that raising anyway if you intend to be busy in the Whitehouse as VP??? A nanny, family member in Alaska, Bristol and her soon to be hubby Levi, the gum chewing 18 year old hockey boy? Pulllllllleeeezz. Go back to Alaska, your NRA guns, snowmobiles, growing family, and population less than one of our LI counties. We know if you and Todd are with child again (special needs or not) it will be baby number 6, but there's no stopping you and your very reproductive Pro-Life platform. Don't let politics get in the way of your family planning! Too much on your plate for Washington DC if you ask me.

I cannot believe this -- I just can't believe this. All these attacks on the Obama/Biden candidacy -- the Democrats weren't that nasty to McCain. Mean, mean, mean.

Where were the issues? All I heard were lies and falsehoods.

Anyone that falls for this crap deserves what they get. If Michigan and Ohio go for McCain/Palin, they deserve not to have new jobs.

The audacity of the Republicans to lie like this -- I can't even begin to discuss my disgust over the Republicans. And what's with the lack of diversity I see in this group -- oh, yeah, what am I thinking -- there is no diversity in this party.

We don't need four more years of disgrace to our country.

And seriously, how can they be "Country first?" What country are they talking about. All the Republicans do is send billions of our dollars over to Iraq. Nothing stays here.

Oh, and I'm also a librarian. This Palin person tried to get a librarian fired because the librarian did not want to remove books from the library that Palin found offensive. Great, just what we needed for our wonderful country -- censorship of our books.

OH,and one more thing -- I sure hope Obama and Biden start using some of these soundbites for their own good and going after McCain/Palin in TV ads. I want to see gloves off big time. I don't want to see wimpy Democrats anymore. Time for the Republicans to leave the White House. Tonight left me with the realization that if Obama/Biden don't take of the niceness, they're not going to win. Republicans don't know how to be nice.

Why is the right so angry? Romney, he's pissed because McCain passed him over for Gov. Mooseburger, Giuliani is pissed because they wouldn't let him say 9-1-1 a hundred times, and Palin sounded like she was running for student council president. What a freak show.

The riddle going across this nation tomorrow will be.

Why does Barack Obama have two phones in the White House?

One phone to accept the call and the other to call John MCCain.

Name me 3 "lies and falsehoods" you heard. And prove they were lies. Quote what she said and quote what you "believe" is the "truth".

You actually think Palin was attacking Obama as a person? She went after his lack of experience, his lack of votes in the Senate, his ability to write 2 memoirs while a Senator but not author a piece of legislation, etc., etc. Her list, which was brilliantly written, was long. And not ONE was a character attack on Obama.

Librarian, please. So, do you have Playboy in your library? Why not? Censorship maybe?

143 Days

As your doctor starts to perform open heart surgery he tells you he has been doing this for 143 days.

As your plane pulls away from the terminal the pilot comes on the public address system and announces he has been flying 747s for 143 days.

Would you hire a lawyer to defend you 143 days out of law school?

Interesting when it's put into perspective, isn't it? Just think how great a professional of any kind you could be with only 143 days of experience! People want change so badly .... Maybe we should lower the experience requirement for doctors, lawyers, airline pilots, etc.

This would cause some change!

Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience - Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much. From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

The one single Senate committee that he headed never even met once. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World.

I don't think so.

Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready for kindergarten.

Wow! Sarah Palin hit a grand slam with that speech.

She powerfully told her compelling story, made a great case for John McCain and absolutely tore Zero-bama to shreds with sharp humor and a winning smile.

*styrofoam greek columns
*authored 2 memoirs but not a single major law or reform
*small town mayor sort of like a community organizer, only with actual responsibiliets.
*the world is not just a community that needs an organizer.

Even the left wing media who have been slinging mud at her for the past week had to admit she was outstanding.

McCain will get a minimum 10 point bounce in the polls from this, if he gives even a decent speech tomorrow night.
