it is too bad that the filthy progressives ruined it for Ted. I really like Ted, and was torn between not voting for him or taking the chance that the filthy progressives would get to him and further their cancer. In the end, the menace of the progressive filth needs to be eradicated and my vote went to Kasich.

The GOP has been smoking things for a long time. They still don't have an agenda. Their agenda is to undo anything the dems have done. Their OLD policies can't bring us progress, just more "W" idiots that can't communicate and don't know what the hell their doing. Oh yeah, they also could pull us into another unnecessary war that costs thousands of American lives (untold others) and add Trillions of dollars to our national debt. Yeah, right--go GOP and Tea Partiers !!!--to HELL!!!!

Kasich's priorities are already crystal clear - he'd rather talk to FOX News than to the citizens of Ohio. That didn't take long. Remember that, Ohio. On election night, our new governor was more interested in talking to his corporate benefactor than to even his loyal supporters, much less the citizens of Ohio.

So the right side of the Monopoly Party gets to play for a while- big whoop. Now the few liberals on here can spend all their time whining and moaning about Boehner instead of about the Tea Party. At least "the truth" still has his socialist boy child in the White House to obsess over every day.

How did someone with such bad judgement get hired to run a state? He sided with Wall Street greed and the state rewards him? This basically tells the banks in Wall St to go ahead and do what you want we really don't care. Just like Taft - Ohio schools will go underfunded for another 4 yrs.

Time is up Ted. May I call the moving trucks for you? For all the business you have ruined in this state I would hope you vacate immediately and not wait. All of us in business had a good night sleep knowing there is a future for lower taxes and a chance to hold on to our business. The last 4 years with you Ted were miserable. Ted you put us behind in the gaming industry, you wiped out cash cashing businesses. You wanted to raise taxes. Ted you were a mess. I hope Kasich does a better job. At least we have hope now Ted. Take your sorry ass back to southern Ohio as we try and forget the last 4 years.

Matt wrote: How did someone with such bad judgement get hired to run a state? Because TV makes it entirely too easy to propagandize people. I bet polls of Kasich voters will show a marked unawareness of the economic recovery the state has been undergoing this year. Don't get me wrong, people have always been susceptible to propaganda and clever, dishonest marketing (there is a reason "snake oil salesman" is in the vernacular), but it has become trivially easy to propagandize, and TV seems to have removed any semblance of patience or long-term vision. We are an instant gratification, lowest-common-denominator, consumerist society. We are "Idiocracy".

Sad day for Ohio. Things will now definitely get worse, hopefully so bad that We, The People will finally wake up and realize that Reps and Dems are just two wings of the same bird of prey and finally Declare or Independence from both.

If people think things were bad before, wait until this guy milks the people of Ohio like he did the investors of Lehman Bros. Any thinking human being can see how the gop devastated the country - not the government, they built it up - over the past decade. How those dim bulbs who voted for Kasich and many other high level office republicans think this will change when John Boehner said clearly the republicans would do what they did in the past? How can any thinking individual NOT realize what had been done from 2000 to 2008? Huge increase in debt, an unnecessary war while one that was became ignored - both sopping up money - and deregulation to the point of economic collapes! What do you unthinking lemmings think is going to happen now? It may become time to go get a few guns, when these guys milk the common middle and lower middle classes to the point that they will be added to the poor you WILL see revolution. When tens of millions lose homes and can't eat because of the greed of the upper 2% things will happen. You may see a little 2nd Ammendment action.

Because NOBODY wants the schools funded as they are except the unions. Strickland proved he would do nothing. if Kasich does nothing about the school SPENDING issue, he'll be a one-trick loser, too. Be mindful, we didn't vote for Kasich, we voted AGAINST Strickland.

Heaven help Ohio and its schoolchildren. Wall Street has taken over Capitol Square. They got the Buckeye State to drink the Kool-Aid. It's a shame.

Many of us voted against the Dems by voting for the Repubs. We know the Repubs. are nearly as bad but we hope this slows things down long enough that we can get some real Patriots/Constitutionalists ready to run against the Repubs. next time. Some of us even voted for Libertarians and Constitutionalists this time. I did. The evil Repubs keep the farce going by telling us we are throwing our votes away if we vote for someone other than a R or a D but maybe in time the people will have their eyes opened and see what a scam this two-party system is.
