Romney shouldn't waste his breath pandering to Latinos, he should ask them whether they're Americans or from-elsewhereicans. If they choose to be Americans, they can stand with their countrymen. If they choose to balkanize the country, they can vote as from-elsewhereicans do.
There's a price to be paid for turning your back on your countrymen. If Latinos choose illegal aliens above their countrymen, they have only themselves to blame when they're regarded with suspicion. After all, they're voting against the best interests of Americans.

What was the result of his pandering? More Latinos said they'd vote for him. When polled, Latinos break about 80/20 in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens. That's bad for American citizens.
