Full story: WTMA-AM North Charleston

Romney should explain very clearly to the Latino community that unlike the obamanation, who never ran anything, Romney has the business expertise to bring the economy back and that the hard pressed latinos will start getting good jobs again as opposed to the obamanation's failed economic policies which has had few good jobs for latinos. Romney should point out that the obamanation's desperate unlawful executive fiat giving the children of illegal aliens amnesty to pander for hispanic votes will further flood the job market that legal latinos operate in with these additional job seekers which will make competition for jobs for legal latinos a lot harder. If it's the economy stupid then maybe that applies to legal latinos too.

Romney can explain all he wants to Latinos, it won't matter. The damage has been done. The last few years of anti-Hispanic rhetoric has taken it's toll on the reputation of the Republican party.

For example, comments like the one below referring to the "dumazzed" Blacks and Latinos ....

Proud Nativist: "The anti-obamanation vote in 2010 took back the House and almost the Senate for the Republicans WITHOUT the latino vote. When Romney wins in 2012 just what are the dumbazzed blacks (about 4% are going to vote for Romney) and latinos (about 27% are going to vote for Romney) going to demand from Romney then? And why will Romney care at that point?"

Thanks for bringing that back up. So what just actually are the blacks who vote 96% for the obamanation and the latinos who vote 67% for the obamanation going to demand from Romney when he wins the Presidency without them? The Republicans won back the House and almost won back the Senate WITHOUT the black and hispanic vote. So the hispanic vote is not quite so important as the hispanics would have you believe. You would expect Romney to give more consideration to those who voted for him and less consideration to those who didn't. If blacks and hispanics were smarter more of them would hedge their bets and vote for Romney. If Romney saw a trend of a few more blacks and hispanics toward him then he would devote more attention to their wants and needs.

Romney shouldn't waste his breath pandering to Latinos, he should ask them whether they're Americans or from-elsewhereicans. If they choose to be Americans, they can stand with their countrymen. If they choose to balkanize the country, they can vote as from-elsewhereicans do.

There's a price to be paid for turning your back on your countrymen. If Latinos choose illegal aliens above their countrymen, they have only themselves to blame when they're regarded with suspicion. After all, they're voting against the best interests of Americans.

This is complete b.S. Voting for Obama in no way means any American is turning their back on other Americans. There are plenty of other things going on in the world besides illegal immigration. It simply means they don't want to vote for Romney, and I can't say I blame them.

Did Obama not just order ICE not to deport illegal alien students? That directly harms citizen students. How? For every illegal alien educated with public dollars, that's less money spent educating citizens.

What was the result of his pandering? More Latinos said they'd vote for him. When polled, Latinos break about 80/20 in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens. That's bad for American citizens.

And what would Romney have done different? He refused to say because the guy has no sack. lol

Many Americans disagree with you and believe Obama did the right thing by these young people and America. I read an endearing article on another thread about a very driven young women who happens to fit the requirements of Obama's new order that seems like a very good asset to this country.

That's so heartwarming. I'm sure my nieces and nephews look forward to having less because some illegal alien got theirs.
