Courant is 2 days late with this story. But I love the message board here. Cannot say Cromwell lacks people with opinions, lets see next election if they can put their votes where their mouths are! Happy mud slinging!

Mark Corvo and Ellie C. are his biggest supporters. .Elllie's son was the town employee who was arrested for stealing . Corvo is a born quitter. He couldn't stick out his term on the P and Z cause he's a cry baby. No wonder why this town is in a mess with Mr. Shingleton listening to two born losers.

A First Selectman should not be selfish and arrogant. I would vote Shingleton out next election. This man has the mentality of Vladimir Putin or Hugo Chavez. We cannot afford to have elected officials act in the manner. It's unfortunate voters did not understand what Shingleton was really like before they voted last election. Hopefully they understand now.

When is Shingleton up for re-election? I'm glad I don't live in Cromwell. If I did, I would not vote for him considering all the problems he has caused.

Many voters in Cromwell are happy with the job that Jeremy Shingleton is doing...most of those who are complaining did not vote for him in the last election so it is no surprise that they are unhappy. When the next election comes, perhaps they will garner enough votes to win but they did not this time. I believe that this is still a Democracy. Grow up and stop playing politics --it's unbecoming.

The Courant's got it just as wrong as the Press. Are they printing what they think will sell news also? Stevenson did not come out with the highest scores for both interviews.

I just love this. Keep up the good work Jeremy. It's about time we had a leader with the guts to reign the minions in. We voted you in for a reason and will vote you back in again.

Where are the town democrats? You're supposed leader has just been called out by the Republicans.

The Democratic Town Committee's silence is deafening. You need to grow a backbone and either support this tyrant or unite with the Republicans against him.

Patricia, God bless your heart but you can not be serious. Read the Middletown Press article and Shingleton's quotes about Stevenson.

I think you will find them unprofessional, classless, and disrespectful. No one should be thrown under a bus regardless of the circumstances for the departure.

Shingleton has lost the respect of many residents. Furthermore, many residents find it impossible now to take anything he says seriously.

Whether you support Shingleton or not, you have to realize his ability to lead has been irreparably harmed. He is damaged goods and should do the honorable action of resigning.

The difference between me and you is I am sane and you are mentally challenged for voting and supporting him...Grow up is this comment for Jeremy cause as far as I can see, he is the only one screwing up our town and acting like a toddler, when he doesnt get his way throws a temper tantrum....You honestly shouldnt use your really name when you sound like a idiot...
