Rell is hardly one that I would consider knowledgeable about the prospects for any possible VP candidates.

Joe Lieberman is nothing but a turn-coat...this man was the DEMOCRATIC nominee for vice-president back in 2000, but now he is independent....yeah, independent to change his mind on policy issues wherever the wind is blowing...I hope when the Dems gain a solid majority in the Senate, they squash him like a bug...tired about listening to him

Everyone in CT should be rooting for Dodd to be Obama's veep and Lieberman to be McCain's. That would be such great political theater.

It would be interesting to have Joe as a VP Choice since the Dem's already picked him.

Lieberman is a sad character at this point in his political life. He is fervently pro-war since he mistakenly sees this as being in the best interests of Israel. However, the Iraq War has been a disaster for all concerned including the families of the more than 4000 dead US soldiers, 100,000 dead Iraqis, the US taxpayer, and for the peace process in the Middle East. It has been great for the Blackwaters and Haliburtons of the world. His dogged adherence to the failed war policies of Bush (and now McCain) placed him at odds with his party. He is now bitter and willing to strike back in any way he can. That he is a mouthpiece for an uninformed, knee-jerk " all war all the time" McCain who is so confused that Joe has to correct him while on camera marks a pathetic end to Lieberman's career. As soon as the elections are over, no matter who wins the White House, the Democratic senate will strip him of all committee seniority. Lieberman has become an unwitting tool of the McCain campaign managers which makes him allies with Karl Rove and his band of Big Lie and Smear thugs. Too bad Joe, your clouded vision has cost you a much better place in history.

Name one thing that Rell will be remembered for, other than for being on-station yet supposedly clueless about Rowland's vast network of corruption across state agencies.

Lieberman has allowed the Dems to be in the majority and run the Senate for these last two years. That has kept McCain out of chairing any committees and having a bully pulpit. And for this some people expect him to be rewarded with the VP nomination? Other than on Iraq and homeland security, Lieberman is as liberal as Dudd and votes just like him, and yet Dumocrats in CT hate his guts. To have this liberal as McCain's VP just ain't gonna happen.

Lieberman is not Patriotic to America or any political party here... he pays homage to a foreign flag ... Israel. He is nothing more than an elected lobbyist for them. Yes, a disgusting disgrace to our homeland.
