John McCain is begging Barak Obama to go to Iraq to help McCain to find those Bush neocon WMDs. He also wants to show Obama what a 700 billion dollar 150,000 US police force in Baghdad looks like.

Obama is doing a fine job of defining himself.

Just look at his Reverend Jeremiah Wright and terrorist friend William Ayers.

Look at his idiotic statements about how tiny countries pose no threat to us then later someone tells him that 19 terrorist killed 3000+ at the WTC so he backpedals into say Iran is a serious threat. Seems he also lacks any historical knowledge on this same line because he mentioned Cuba as no threat. He must not know about the Cuban Missile Crisis when Castro rented nuclear missiles from Russia and aimed them at us.

Obama is defined as a fool & a fraud.

But he has been campaigning hard in "58" states, and he sees a lot of our "fallen heroes" in the audience when he speaks to a Memorial Day gathering. So give'em a break, huh?

mccain is sitting "pretty." he has a chance to pull in many, many democrats who are fed up with the barak kook-aid express! many democrats feel disenfranchised because of what is going on in florida and michigan. many feel clinton has been mistreated and stomped on by the dnc elite like kennedy, kerry, edwards, and howard dean. many women are just plain angry that clinton has been the target of sexism. many middle class causcasians and hispanics who voted for clinton do not feel comfortable with barak. many in the jewish community do not trust barak's ties to the muslim world. and when all is said and done, the republicans who have been mad at mccain will have to vote for him over barak (who they consider the most liberal senator in the U.S. senate.) mccain has an opportunity here, the cards are in his hand!

Here are the threats to America, in no particular order:

1) radical islamic terrorists who would destroy us.

2) dependence on foreign oil.

3) an aging baby boomer population requiring increased services in an inprepared healthcare system

4) the loss of manufacturing jobs to foreign concerns

5) the lose of service jobs - call centers, etc, to foreign concerns

6) the loss of technology jobs to foreign concerns primarily in Eastern Eruope, India, and other parts of Asia.

7) intergenerational poverty spawned by a failed social welfare system.

We need to move swiftly towards alternative forms of energy. Hybrid automobiles and increased fuel efficiency, alternative fuels, and conservation can move us in this direction.

Corporations doing business in the US should be penalized for using overseas workers.

Steps must be taken to re-establish the family unit in urban America, where the overwhelming majority of minority children are born out of wedlock.

We must complete the mission in Iraq, and continue to eradicate Al Qaeda terrorists wherever they exist.

We need insurance reform in the healthcare sector, and eliminate the huge profits generated by overpriced healthcare premiums. We need reform of malpractice insurance which is driving physicians from private practice.

Dude, awesome reply. Well said. There is also so much more here about this guy. This only message for running the country is HOPE and CHANGE, which means he "hopes" people don't figure out he has no plan and no clue, as well as "Change" our country to a Socialist state where big brother tells what to say, eat, feel and think. Obama (Osama) is a fool. I just hope the voters figure this out before November.

Cohiba wrote:
The specter of revolution is rising.
Like Islamists who believe they must destroy Israel in order to conquer "the two Americas" and Europe, and Soviet Communists who used manmade famine and forced collectivization to crush the Russian and Ukrainian countryside, radical left-wing Democrats backing Barack Obama hope that escalating energy and food prices will spell doom for suburban and rural America.
In other words, where most Americans see a crisis, the radicals sense an opportunity--to overthrow the established order.
Rural Americans will feel the pain most immediately and intensely. The radicals regard America's predominantly white towns, villages, and surviving family farms as hopelessly conservative pockets of resistance to the left-wing global agenda. Hence, the antidemocratic Left's crusade against allegedly anthropogenic global warming. Fear of manmade global warming is a politically potent weapon that has been and will continue to be used to prevent the nation from producing its way to a more prosperous and secure economic future.(Hence, too, the Left's jihad against mainstream Christianity and Judaism, which are seen by radicals as inherently reactionary faiths--in contrast with the Black Liberation Theology of Obama's present and former pastors and the political Islam of Hamas, which has endorsed his candidacy.)
The radicals' real goal is forced urbanization, a permanent end to the suburban, rural and semi-rural ways of life that represent freedom and independence for tens of millions of ordinary Americans. It takes an energy crisis to destroy a village (or a suburban mall or shopping center), the radicals whisper when the media is not around.
Understand, as Obama likes to say, what is at stake if you reside in one of the areas targeted for extinction or, at the very least, total transformation, by the radical Left. The candidate of global change (in the interest of Third World tyranny) wants to take away your SUVs, pickup trucks, and cars--any and all privately owned and operated vehicles, no matter how small and fuel-efficient--your barbecue grills, your swimming pools (and your right to create swimming ponds), your guns (for hunting, target practice, and self-defense), your public and private golf courses, your vacations at the beach and in the mountains, and, finally, your homes and farms. Your suburban and rural schools, too, must go; just as they destroyed neighborhood city schools decades ago, the radicals won't be satisfied until your children are crammed into crowded urban classrooms, where they can be more effectively indoctrinated and prepared for forced labor on behalf of state-sponsored social programs. A new wave of community organizing--Obama's claim to fame, after all--will require legions of brainwashed, urban youths. There will be so many storefronts to staff, campaigns to manage, minds to influence, younger brains to wash....
Obama's plan for change amounts to a revolution--from the top. Like a modern-day Mao in capitalist clothing, Obama can be expected to mobilize big government and elements of big business--Washington and Wall Street--to wipe out Main Street. If elected President, he will try to use the liberal media and the elite intellectual and professional/managerial classes, as well as the constant threat of violence from a seething urban underclass (the lumpenproletariat in Marxist jargon), to eradicate the middle and working classes that stand in the way of "another world."
http://www.dontvoteobama.net/
I got a question, cohiba. If radical liberals promise to stay away for your rural area, will you allow us to pass gay rights legislation and work toward independence from foreign oil? Or would you still say we're not allowed to do it?
This whole notion that liberals are the intolerant ones-- because we won't allow conservative intolerance-- is a complete inversion of the truth.

You can find concrete examples of Obama's plans for Iraq, energy, the economy, education, and dozens of other topics on his website. You can also listen to his speeches on youtube or any other site, if you wish. And yet you'd rather claim he has "no plan", which is patently false, and embarrassingly simplistic. So who's the fool, again?

Well said PWilson. Well said. It's like having a Yale Med. Student perform open heart surgury on your child. I think not. Experience rules. I like McCain mainly because he is the best of all three.

Any person running for President that would not wear a US Flag lapel pin is poor charater. He only just started wearing in in the past week sue to heat from the press. So her was forced to wear it. wake up America.

I don't need a web site to know a used car saleman when I see one. This guy is all puff and no stuff. Just running for the seat for a place in the history books, not because of his love of country. He is one of those typical "hate America first" pinheads from Yale and Harvard. Who da fool? You da fool!

Good point. History lesson kiddies ... gather around -'Nam started with good old JFK (actually bailing out the French in french indo-china - thank you france), ballooned under LB Johnson (the President Dems. never talk about like he never existed), and ended with Tricky Dick. Nixon was handed the war bombed Cambodia and the rest is history. CARTER was the one that deregulared the gas, inflation was out of control, interest rates were high beyond your imagination, Iranian hostage crisis began, we lost GI's in a failed effort to save the hostages .... am I missing anything. Sure I am. Carter was a terrible President and a worse X-President. We, like Obama, was elected after voters were unhappy with the proir adminstration. Carter was not Pres. material, had no real background to do the job and smile smiled and talked a good story. What we got was a disaster that is still talked about today. Let's not repeat this with Obama, who I view pretty much as a Jimmy Carter type that is a smooth talker like Bill Clinton.
