Mr_Bill wrote: <quoted text> Your daughter got children by your husband? Only kidding, I know what you meant. Truth is, they were slipped through the grease. They (and all of us) must remember that the beat banker is Mr. Potter from "It's A Wonderful Life" because what you see is what you get. Any lender will do or say almost anything he can get away with to close a loan. Your children should have had a lawyer who watched out for his clients. By taking a balloon loan, they were taking a risk that America would go along as she had been going. It is George Bush and his lying neo-conservatives who deliberately queered the economy, and are now screwing your children into the ground; while sneering self-rightiously "you should have known better." Technically, they are right, but who could have expected the President of the United States and a Republican Congress to kill the American dream? If I remember correctly this all didn't start until just recently. Republicans are not in power, in congress right now. On top of that the conservatives were deffinately not in power in the last 8 years. The only conservative thing bush did was lower taxes slightly. Why do think the republicans are not in power right now? Hello? Anyone home? Oh bush's ratings are at about 34%, and the democratic congress's rating are at what 13% and going farther down. Soooooooooooo ummmmm I guess to me its obvious who is responsible for all this. Can't wait for them to continue to keep us from drilling and pumping for oil here some more. The Dems had a free ride right into the white house, but now with thier stance on oil they are sure to lose it. HAHAHAHAHA What a bunch of idiots we have for leaders.

BUSH, REID, AND PELOSI RECESSION AND INFLATION DARK YEARS AHEAD In accordance with their grand scheme, the tyrannical Neo-Con/Neo-Lib dominated Bush, Reid, and Pelosi government must now start paying for their Constitutionally illegal Iraq War, and their Paulson subprime mortgage lending and stock trading scam, by now printing billions of dollars to rescue these world-class crooks; thereby subjecting the government betrayed American People to systematic ruinous recession and inflation.

Yes some people lost jobs and ins. rates went up ect. Energy prices have gone BS from China using 50% more energy and countries like china subst. gas prices so users pay next to nothing so they use more,,,,now that the Chinesse goverment will charge 15% more of fuel that should slow down the usage abit and lower usage and prices ect.

You are so hell-bent on that Republican battle cry "self-responsibility " that you would deny your own countrymen help while giving billions and billions of dollars to foreign countries. AMERICA FIRST!!! AMERICANS FIRST!!! That's where our money needs to be. While our tax dollars are being shipped to Iraq to rebuild them, wealthy American investors are investing in growing companies in THAT country and making money hand over fist. In the meantime, our people losing their homes and struggling to get by. That's OUR money the government takes out of OUR paychecks. It should go to US. Uuuuuhhh- did you somehow misread my post? Did I even mention Iraq, war or foreign aid of any kind???? I'm talking about people assuming responsibility for THEIR OWN HOUSEHOLDS. Worry about your own backyard and tend to it. I'm an Independent and I am not for the war at all. I'm also against our IRS and the unconstitutional taxation of our earned income to repay the interest on the debt we owe to the Federal Reserve for continuously printing dollars that don't technically even exist! I supposed you are just a "liberal Democrat" that cannot make sense of anything unless you box it in with party lines.

Mr_Bill wrote: <quoted text> I agree. It is not that the "religious Right" believe abortion is WRONG, as you do; but that they force that belief on others by trying to banning abortion for the others who have no moral argument with abortion. You may believe praying all day, one day a week is wrong; fine. But don't ban others from praying because you think it is wrong. It is when you try to translate your belief that <something> is wrong, which others do not see as wrong, that makes you into a violator of other's rights. In other words, believe what you want, but don't legislate your morals onto others who have different morals. So your telling me,not to say anything, let it go?Where is the justice in not saying anything? How in the world can we,change our minds? When do we draw the line, what we can say?Do you honestly think that's fair?

Next it will be the government bailing out auto loans and then credit cards. Doesn't anyone in this country take responsibility for their actions anymore? I realize that a lot of people were scammed but the majority of the people losing their homes couldn't afford them in the first place. It isn't the governments job to bail out irresponsible lenders or borrowers. No one bailed me out when I bought my home. What happened to responsibility in this country? Thank you. This is exactly right. We are leaning towards being the dumbest country in the world with everyone relying on the government to tell them when and how to breath. Allowing these lending corporations to scam the american public is one thing and those are not the ones being bailed out. I've been looking to buy a home for over a year now but I'm not going to rush out and spend over my limit just because credit is available. Are we also going to bail out all these people who maxed out their credit cards just because they had available credit and spent it? Also, keep in mind that the money they use to bail out these people are the tax payers money.
